Hotel Du Parlement

Overall the room and bed were ok, however, the room was not very clean. The location was excellent. I have to mention that the receptionist was friendly and nice.

The bathroom could use a renovation and heating. I was given a room on the 3rd floor which was very difficult for me to go up and down. With the suitcase, it was almost impossible for me to go down.The receptionist helped with bringing the suitcase upstairs when I arrived, which is of course appreciated.

The room was very big and clean, that’s a big plus. Also, it’s very close to the parliament.

Quite an old building and a lot of stairs (no lift). Bedding was not comfortable too, and a bit overpriced in comparison to other hotels.

There is no lift. and there were a lot of stairs to all the rooms. I said when I reserved my room, months before my stay that I had a walker that is, I have a disability. I was only told that there was no lift a few days before I arrived, too late to book another hotel. What is more I was put on the 2nd floor and wehen I asked for the 1st floor was told that this wasn't possible. I arrived at about 8pm, after the desk closed at 7pm so there was no one to help me with my luggage and walker up the stairs and in the morning there was only one person who was doing breakfast so there was no one to help me down the stairs. I think this is disgraceful.Also for my room the pictures on the website are misleading - the room is more run down - eg loose flooring.

The room was so cold and the stairs to the third floor were a bit much.Several lamps were not working in the room.

Could have been cleaner (there was hair in the bathroom and on the floor) but it was ok.

Location is very very good. Breakfast and lunch options were sufficient and nice. Prices were very good. Place is a bit dated but also carries its own unique vibe, which in my opinion was still very nice and cosy.

Just needs modernisation but nothing beats its location, prices, and friendly staff.

Great location - place de Luxembourg, very close to European institutions, super close to the European Parliament. The included breakfast is big even for a person for whom it is the most important meal of the day. My room included everything necessary for a short stay, even a kettle and a small fridge. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The only thing that bothered me was the key getting stuck in the door of my room.

The chocolate theme is awesome! Conveniently located.

It was quiet and peaceful, the hotel is accessible to transport and restaurants. I got the money’s worth .

I didn’t know it had stairs .

It has a lot of space for 3 people. Beds are big enough.

The bathroom is small and old. Sink is broken. And room is warm.

Great reception, good location and a comfy bed.

Dirty sheets and pillowcase, very small bathroom, bad ventilaion with a weird layout, you cannot stand in front of the sink facing the mirror as there is no space since the toilet seat is right next to it.

Very close to the Parliament and also the Luxemburg train station, so easy to reach from the airport.

No lift. The shelves were not level - objects tended to slide off!

The manager is a very nice person and he even took up and down the luggage for me. Also hotel is very clean and very central. Very near EU Parliament, just a 10 minute walk, and near the shops in Rue de Luxembourg.

The fact that I was 3rd floor and there was no lift was a definite setback, and the room would have been great in winter as it was an alcove-like room with slanting roof, but it was really hot. I was sorry that the manager had to bring up and down my luggage. He was a true gentleman. But without a lift is not a nice thing, especially in case of an emergency and you need to go down quickly.

The bathroom was filthy, mould everywhere, shower recess fills up with water and drains extremely slowly and extremely small .

Very well located to the center of the EU institutions . It is a quiet place. Beds are comfortable . Bathroom was ok. Free water bottle was appreciated. Good pricing for the area. Possibility for breakfast.

The TV chains were not working despite different trials. No coffee packages (but tea well). some lightings were not operational . third floor was nice for the silence, but a bit challenging for the luggage ;-)

Location is excellent

There’s no lift and it was no fun to walk with the suitcase all the way to the 3rd floor. The water in the shower does not flow away smoothly
