The location is tip-top, a couple of minutes on foot from the main shopping street and the Louise metro stop. I booked spontaneously rather late in the day, traveling alone, and was given the only room available - a generously sized family suite with a queen bed in each of two rooms, for the (very reasonable) price of a single room. The beds were comfortable, and I enjoyed the very large, practically royal bathtub. The continental breakfast buffet was fine, with good croissants, baguettes, and all that goes along with these. No complaints!
The main drawback was the non-functioning elevator; guests on higher floors beware (I was on the third floor). The friendly staff volunteered to help me carry my luggage up; this was not necessary, as I was traveling light. The need to climb three flights of stairs just to get to the room made me change my daily habits a bit - I took my overcoat down to breakfast and did not return to the room before going out.
Location is very good. Breakfast was OK, but always the same. Personal is very friendly. Design interior was beautiful.
The room was extremely small. Only 3 hanger for clothes were available (for 2 person). In the morning it was very strong smell of croissants/bread in the room (however our room was on 4th floor).
It was lovely. We enjoyed the vintage style of the hotel and was near to the city center and the subway. The room was clean in general and very friendly services.
The location is great as well as staff
It was not clean properly there was hair in bed and small hole in blanket.
Staff was friendly and became friendlier during our stay. We arrived quite early, but we could check in without problem. The location was good for shopping and within reasonable (25 min) walking distance (for us) from old-town. Surroundings seemed to be safe to move around also in the night.
The pictures gave a better and more spacious impression about the Family room compared with the reality. There was also a strange mouldy smell in there, when we arrived, which dissapeared after a couple of days. Closing the balcony door took a serious effort, needs fixing. For this price there should have been a mini-fridge in the room. Considering all of this, the price-quality realtion was not good. On the pictures there were also better looking rooms available and it did not look like there were many visitors during the time of our visit. We did not want to set up a claim for this, because we did not spend much of time in there and the annoyances were minor.
Very good location The staff was nice and helpful
The room was smaller than expected (although we booked the big one). The tv was not working properly.
The location was excellent, near metro and tram. The breakfast was good. Great bread. The staff very friendly. An excellent hotel for a solo traveller.
Location
The bedsheets were super dirty, and the guy at the reception didn't change them as I kindly asked him.
The location and the staff! It s super close to the centre and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Also, the breakfast was great! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean!
it would’ve been helpful to have a little fridge in the room as we had some food that we didn’t wanna throw away, but thankfully it was cold enough to keep it outside for the night
Nice rooms, checkout until 12:00
To have 2 beds instead of one big. No big deal but a little bit annoying for a couple.
Wi-Fi was not working well everyday for 10 days.
Good location with restaurants and near a shopping area. Centre easy walking or metro away
I was on rooftop and did not like it, window was on ceiling )) I think you should ask guest, if she/he wants to stay there. Next time I would prefer in normal room.
Location is excellent. The staff is simply amazing. Breakfast was also good.
The vintage furniture was not restored. It's as if they were taken from the flea market and directly placed in the rooms. Carpets and curtains need to be cleaned. There was a lingering smell of dust in my room.
The hotel was in a nice location. The front terrace was very nice as well to relax in the morning or the evening.
The bathroom was not very clean, it could definitely use an update on the tiles and also paint in the bedroom, the wall was very marked.
Original, relaxed, quiet, good restaurants nearby.Breakfast was good, the atmosphere was calm.
Bit awkward to reach from the station. On the fringe of the city centre, but fine for an overnight. No plug for the sink.
The staff were very helpful and friendlyThe location was in a safe area, walking distance to the city and shops on Louise AvenueLots of restaurants nearby, good foodEasy access to Metro, trams and busesQuirky, definitely VintageClean towels and maid service every dayWas able to leave suitcase in a secure place before and after checkout
