Staff, location, the energy.

My room was not cleaned properly everyday, even though it was more or less clean.

The hotel is top located and has very clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast and lunch are very good, and spaces are warm and welcoming. The staff is very helpful and nice. I will be back

Everything. The room was big, bright and clean and pretty. The staff was amazing— so friendly and helpful. The tube is half a block away. Hyde Park just a block or two more. Portobello Road around the corner. The neighborhood is full of good restaurants. Great hotel breakfast!!

Nothing. It was superb.

The Laslett is in a great location with walking distance to many of the attractions in Notting Hill and surrounds. The Master suit was large, chic and very comfortable. The hotel staff are very helpful and super friendly.

My room was in the basement, not clean and smelled of food/kitchen. The staff at the bar was interesting: we ordered a bottle of champagne. He dumped it on the table with the glasses and left. When I asked for a dish towel to pour the champagne myself he gave me a cleaning rug

A bit pricy

We booked their largest room, as we are a family of 2 adults and a 14 year old child. The space was great - plenty of room for all of us. Our daughter had her own little cove that was semi-separate from our bed/main area, which was nice. We could walk to a lot of restaurants and shops on notting hill and Kensington, which was nice. Beds are comfortable. Metro stop super convenient.

Although it’s a convenient location to the metro, and in proximity of some cute neighborhoods, I felt the immediate location was lacking. Very busy and rough corner - lots of trash/garbage around, specifically in the unit next to the hotel. Wish it was a block or two in either direction. Additionally, we had an uncomfortable experience in regard to housekeeping. We had our do not disturb sign on the door when we left for the day because we did not want service. Fate struck when we were out and our daughter started vomiting. We quickly made our way back to the hotel and as we were trying to get her into the room, we were met by housekeeping in the hallway who kept pestering us on service. We kept saying we did not want service but it wasn’t registering. When we finally got into the room, and as our daughter was very sick in the bathroom, not only was housekeeping knocking on our door to offer service that we had already declined, but our phone to the room was ringing. When I answered, they wanted to know if we wanted housekeeping service. The timing was incredible inconsiderate as I was trying to take care of my sick child and annoying since we had already signaled we did not want service by hanging the placard on the door earlier in the day. Left a sour taste in our mouths.

Not as nice as in pictures online in the bedrooms. No complimentary biscuits or cookies. Question value for money.

Room very comfortable

Waited over 30 minutes for breakfast - selected breakfast with the room but was offered a reduced menu as it was part of a package - a quite expensive package. Felt a bit cheap.

Nice small hotel in the heart of Notting Hill, just few steps from the subway station

The staff, food, drinks, and property were all exceptional.The location is ideal with lots of restaurants nearby and tube service within 20 meters.

We only stayed for 1 night. We found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed a meal in Henderson bar and kitchen. The food was delicious, great to be able to choose a small or larger plate and a short but nice selection of wine by the glass. I had the sea bass which was perfectly cooked. The staff in the bar were friendly and helpful. Plus the cake of the day, chocolate and banana, was very good, Our room was a good size with everything that we needed. The bathroom was clean and had lovely toiletries. The mini bar had a good choice of snacks, sweets and drinks and there was a coffee machine.All in all we had a great stay and will definitely choose to stay here again.

Nice hotel, v good location super close to Notting Hill Gate metro station. Staff was v helpful, bedding was good. It’s been revamped recently.

However, we were not too happy about the soundproofing, the windows are old and you could hear everything from the street. Same with other ppl in the corridor. The hotel has been nicely redecorated but the “older” structure remains.
