Pros +
- Location to tube and train station + restaurants + Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.
- The location was very close to the tube and train station (simplifying transport of luggage on foot.) There was a nice variety of restaurants nearby for a quick bite as well. It was also very close to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.
- Fairly convenient for Paddington Station. Kettle and tea and coffee facilities. They let me use a shared fridge to keep my milk. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons -
- Only one outlet location for 2 people to use to charge devices.
- There was only one location for plugging in devices to charge, which was inconvenient for 2 people staying in the same room.
- It’s an old building so creaky floors and sounds from neighbours were a bit disruptive. The room was incredibly hot and it was hard to control the radiator. There is no refrigerator in the room even though there is one in the pictures. Shower on the first day was like warm.

Disappointing
Room 18- where ever people have showers or run any water you hear it in you room so if your coming off a late travel day and need to rest you can be woken up any time that happens
The room is comfortable, slightly on the smaller size but great for 1 person for a few nights. The room seemed very clean, but a bit dated. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm (it was a rainy cold night in London)
The shower took an age to warm up and the water pressure was poor.
Very quick service, option of colds or hot breakfast. Good timings as well! The room was comfy with a decent amount of room for solo trip, good facilities and location is great for getting around. With shops nearby too.
Had everything we needed and a great location
Very compact space. Everything just fits in tightly. The pillows were lumpy and could have been comfier. The lift was also very noisy in the night
Clean and, well maintained small hotel. Satisfying breakfasts.
Nice place, close to public transport (Paddington station). It is in a row of similar older buildings with different price ranges, so you get what you pay for. Breakfast was perfectly fine for what to expect based on price.
Close to the Tube and British Rail. Staff were very pleasant.
The bedroom and bathroom were a bit small. A taller person might struggle in the shower cubicle. There was no space for a large suitcase. Traffic noise even with the window closed. Breakfast was OK. A bit limited on choice for an English breakfast. A choice of bacon rather than sausage or poached eggs instead of fried would have been nice. Some plain yoghurt with fresh fruit would have been appreciated.
Ideal for getting to west end, Knightsbridge Oxford street etcBreakfast was ok
Cold room, no windows, heater was dangerous hot
Location, staff were polite
Hair in bed and towels
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in London. The staff were friendly and professional, especially those working in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety. The reception staff were helpful and answered all our questions. The location is great, close to many attractions and easy access to the underground.
We liked really everything!!
Hello,We were very happy with our stay. Everything was excellent: the cleanliness, the comfort of the room, the temperature, and the English breakfast, which we really enjoyed. For future guests, we would simply recommend checking the television and its streaming services, as we were not able to use them during our stay.Thank you again for the hospitality.
Location to Paddington
The property is dated and beds weren’t comfortable
Comfy bed and pillows helpful efficient staff.
The shower cubicle was too small for me to correctly use poor design.
Helpful staff, nice room, great location
Nothing really. A clothes iron for the room would be helpful, but that is a minor quibble
Location, Higiene
Small room
Location is perfect. Very close to hydepark and subways
Room is too small. A bit expensive but i guess this is normall in center london
Location is basically the only thing that we were truly satisfied with fully. Everything else had its flaws. Hotel looks good on the outside, and the halls are ok, as well as reception. The owner (or manager) seemed helpful, however, the complaint that we had was not really accepted. Value was worth because of the location only! I don't want to give it a bad grade in respect to owners to try and make things better.
Breakfast served in the basement room with no windows. English breakfast wasn't truly the one. Continental food didn't have any ham or any delicatesen, add to the english breakfast, but only cheese with plastic foil over the plate, a few cereals and a yoghurt, coffee, tea. In general, this could be the most pleasant part of the stay, but it also wasn't. Biggest problem - our room had mold, and it had smell of mold. When we made a complaint to be checked, we were explained that it wasn't mold (and that there is no mold in the room) but chemicals from the bathroom. However, bathroom smelled better then the room itself. When I opened the wooden cabinet in the room, there was a stronger smell of mold, as well as there was mold in the top corner of the room over the TV. It's unfortunate that such obvious complaints are not accepted. Also, the room was cold. It was a one night stay - therefore, we spent the night in the room. In the future, this hotel will not be on our list.
