    Cons -

    • This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room had no window, bathroom amenities were basic. Its not bad, room was clean, staff was pleasant and its close to the kensington high street tube station.
    • The bathroom is very small
    • They gave us a disgusting room, then we complained and we were moved to a very average room.

The check in was very easy, the breakfast was great and the breakfast room was very pleasant. Our room was small but worked out fine.

No fault of hotel but the street noise was a little difficult one of the nights (construction).

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-30-2019

The location was great. Right near Keningston Palace.

The first night was stayed there, the fire alarm went off four times.

    7JensPosted on: 7-11-2019

Location is fantastic and close to many good museums and restaurants.

The bed wasn't particularly wide, and the room was a bit small.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-7-2018

The staff was very helpful and cordial. The location was also good.

There was a general lack of maintenance, but not unexpected at the price point.

    Cozy, great service, good location.

4 star is a bit optimistic. No restaurant, lobby is a desk on 2nd floor. Rooms small, even by London standard. But a great place to stay!

Location. Friendly staff. Price was right. Continental breakfast was nice.

Elevator was hard to access. Same for Internet, which was free Room was small; okay for a solo; would have been a problem for a couple. Should probably be rated as 3 star, not 4.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-30-2017

The staff and the location were excellent!

    No fridge. Room was small.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-21-2017

Managers at front desk were extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. Lite breakfast was included.

Room was tiny, could not open room darkening curtains because window looked out over a roof with empty bottles trashed there. Day two hotel ran out of towels, front desk gave us 3 terry floor mats.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-1-2017

Value for rate and location a few minutes walk from High Street Kensington tube. Also, ignore negative comments about May 2017 renovation to breakfast room and box breakfasts being substituted . That was all finished prir to our late June 2017 stay

Wifi a bit spotty and needed a new code each day from front desk

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-23-2017

Location was pretty good. Very close to an underground station and the area is really nice. Friendly and helpful staff.

The wifi connection is not very good.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-5-2015

The location to the tube was great.

The hotel room was small, which was expected but the rooms were dingy. The hotel staff could not seem to understand that my reservation was for two nights instead of one even though I had emailed and called before arriving.

    9BradleyPosted on: 9-11-2015

    Nicely appointed room, good linens.

The room was smaller than I expected and could have made a little better use of the small space.

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-2-2015

I could open the window. And the bathroom was small but pretty modern and in good shape.

I don't even know where to begin. The hotel was fine for a 2 star: lobby was upstairs by stairs. Room small and threadbare. Only a 4 star on a 10 scale.

    9YvonnePosted on: 3-30-2015

Location, price, free breakfast, free wi-fi, nice shower, windows, close to underground transportation, nice shopping area since it is on the High St.

Tiny room but large enough for our purposes

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-15-2015

    Location

This is not a 4 star property by any standard. Not a proper working lift, no restaurant, no hot breakfast, extremely tiny rooms, tiny bath area and so on.Feel bad for paying so high for this property.

    4Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-19-2015

Location was excellent, right on Kensington High Street, about 250 metres from Kensington High Street Tube Station. Well equipped bathroom. Staff were helpful

Room was very small. Access to the hotel up narrow stairs or via a pater-noster-type lift with luggage. Carpeting in public areas was dirty looking.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-22-2022

This was the perfect stay for our trip! The location was perfect, the staff was amazing, and it was so nice to have breakfast before heading out every morning! Absolutely recommend!
