The room was just OK; bad smell in the bathroom that improved after running the shower. The room air should have been turned on ahead of my arrival so the room was not stuffy and humid. The bed was one of the worst; sagging on one, rock hard on the other

Great location, well equipped and clean room. Welcoming staff. A very good experience overall. Will most definitely look at Citadines in the future.

Initially I thought it was a little on the high side when I looked first but then I needed another date and it was a little less expensive. So the only downside would be that sometimes it would be hit if my price range.

Beautiful new accommodation with spacious, modern, bright rooms in picturesque Islington, one minute from wonderful dining, shopping, and pubs. The staff were so kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Breakfast could use more variety - we were there for seven days and the same items were offered each day, bed was very hard

The location was the best part of my stay! There were excellent restaurants, pubs and lovely shops very close to the hotel. The staff was friendly and nice. The room was clean and comfortable.

Sheets were pilly, Gym mats were falling apart, There were only large pans in the kitchen which didn’t make sense for a room with a max occupancy of 2 people. Water was shut off without adequate notice although management responded quickly when I called. The water was off a 2nd day as well. 2 fire alarms. So for a weeks stay it was a lot of disruption. I paid a lot of money for a week and did not feel it was a good value.

I love the location of Citadines, it’s tucked away and is safe, secure and quiet. The rooms are comfortable enough and there’s cooking facilities and washing options.

I’ve stayed at Citadines for several years now and the rooms have gone downhill. My shower was not clean, the plug was totally blocked so the water didn’t drain from a shower (which resulted in my opening the door mid shower and flooding the floor).The gym is pretty disgusting. It had a very nasty stench, there was a flood on the floor and random dirty towels and papers.The fridge in my room needed a good clean and smelled very bad each time I opened it and the room wasn’t cleaned once in the 3 nights I was there.I’d stay again for the convenience and safety but the place needs more TLC and more regular upkeep to remain a pleasant place to stay

The location was ideal for our stay in Islington. The hotel is located in Islington Square so there are plenty of shopping, restaurants, and a nice gym all within close walking distance. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast, and the woman who operated the pantry, were both EXCELLENT!! My room was large and commodious. Although I did not use it, there was a full kitchen available for my use.

It was difficult to find the entrance to the facility. The address did not show up on several online maps that I used. And, the taxi driver who took me there from Kings Cross Station did not know how to reach the entrance to the facility. So, I had to walk, in the dark, late at night, a bit, to find the entrance. I should have been told, by the facility, to enter via Almeida Street; but, I wasn't. It was the only problem in an otherwise very pleasant experience.

I appreciate that it is an apartment hotel complete with kitchenette. It is off the high street so it is quiet but very well located. Rooms are nicely decorated.

I wish bathrobes were provided, I truly miss them. A black facecloth for makeup removal would also be great. And have a mirror near a plug so we could dry our hair in front of one.

Really nice, modern apartment style hotel room. All the features are new and in great shape. The room is spacious and the bathroom is really nice. It’s also in a great part of town to walk around and find food and coffee while still being able to easily get to the main landmarks downtown.

Room was great. Very clean and spacious. Kitchenette was a good feature as was the full size fridge.

Would have liked a bar in the reception/lounge. Breakfast a bit limited, but lots of excellent alternative venues very close by. Did not really offer a car park and quite expense (GBP 30 per day) if you could secure the spot.

Reliable hotel, great location, spacious room and comes with air conditioning, which help in summer days. The decoration is modern. It's great to have someone in a reception desk as well who can assist you with questions and even recommendations around the area.

Nice small and cozy hotel with a great location for visiting that part of London.

Rooms was too warm and for desk duty reception could have deployed a robot instead.
