Very nice rooms with lots of space , concierge was amazing I didn’t catch his name but he was from Ireland , he was super helpful and really nice! Would definitely recommend this hotel

Location and quirky design features of the hotel

We had a window less room. The design of the room was great it wasn’t apparent there was no window. However during the night the room became stuffy for me.

The room was very bright and welcoming.

Not having a wall shower that could be used as an alternative to the rain shower.

The location was very convenient next to Kings Cross Station

The fact that there is a £100 deposit taken for every night you stay. I would have preferred to pay any extras on check out than wait for the money to be refunded. Also on check out the receptionist seemed more concerned whether we had taken anything from the mini bar.He never even bothered to ask if everything had been okay and if we had enjoyed our stay. He just said that's all done.

Great location and great staff. The hotel has a 70’s vibe. We found plenty of local places to eat. Our room was big

The price not worth the room or service.Taken £100 deposit from me which I need to wait to get refunded? Also just adding extra service charge at check in when I am only staying the night and have yet to experience any service. Also no free in water in the rooms really a 5star hotel?!

The location was great and it was very easy to catch the train to different parts of the city. The room was clean and had plenty of space with great lighting. The staff was polite, attentive and allowed us to check in early.

We were looking forward to the rooftop bar and was part of the reason we booked the hotel, but it was closed for a private event which was disappointing. Going in we knew it was going to be more expensive than some of the other places we stayed, and I would probably take that into account more carefully if I booked in the future.

I can really recommend the standard hotel. From the guy at the door, receptionist, all the staff are so polite and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a very well stocked mini bar and snack cupboard! Food in ‘Decimo’ restaurant was amazing, and breakfast was perfect. Would definitely recommend it and stay again.

Location was the only redeeming quality of this hotel. Nothing else.

The front desk staff were consistently unprofessional and disengaged — I often felt as though I was interrupting them just by showing up. During check-in, they confused my booking with someone else’s, and I had to point out the error myself. There was no proper briefing about the facilities or services, which set the tone for the rest of my stay. The elevators were also frustrating, with glitchy buttons that made something as simple as getting to your floor a hassle.

The soundproofing and the staffing are gorgeous. The location is very convenient as well.

The location and the property itself is amazing. All the decor and design is fantastic. The staff are also incredibly hospitable and friendly and tried their best when the systems they were using were not fit for purpose or even working for almost 24 hours.

However, the computer system went down and this caused a multitude of issues. Also as i booked the two nights separately the two bookings were not linked even though i had rung up a few times before arrival. i had to go through it all on the first day and then on the second with no computer systems it was impossible for htem to deal with. My room as not cleaned (as they did not confirm to houskeeping that it was for 2 nights so i had to ask someone to go come and clean it. Also the air conditioning was not working in the room and despite raising this with them this was not addressed until later on day 2.

Beautiful hotel, just across the road from St Pancras Station. Loved the decor in the room, excellent facilities and the staff were lovely. We ordered breakfast to the room which was delicious and really reasonably priced.
