Totally scammed! Horrible experience!

The basic facilities I paid for while I was booking this called hotel like AC was not available, the sauna was “broken” as the receptionist said, no proper ventilation, too loud, too noisy and can hear the rings of the elevator all night long. I did not manage to get to sleep at night because of this situation and it wasn’t clean. I couldn’t fit the shower as well and this place is not a hotel but an accommodation house for locals. Checked out as soon as possible and asked for a refund which I was told I can get but no one got back to me. Total fraud!

Location - close to transportation Laundry

Poor administration and management, nobody knows what they are doing at the front desk; conflicting answers to questions; many trips to the front desk are required to answer requests; room was not properly working, could not use outlets; refrigerator was not working; tv was not working and nobody knew how to solve the problem; lack of training in hospitality.

The Swimming Pool, Sauna, Gym.

The fact that the rooms are not cleaned regularly. Kindly work on that. Change of sheets and Towels is very important.

Very rude lady at the reception was so dismissive when I needed help with the heating system.The room was so dusty and dirty which affected my respiratory systems

If I'm completely honest we didn't like anything, for the money we spent we expected a lot more than we got.

Were do I start, we had loads of orange like stains on our towels, for the money I wouldn't expect anything like this. We had a leak near our window so my gf most of the night got wet through the drop from the ceiling, this also made the carpet wet through and the curtain wet as well. We went to the gym and there was weights all over the place, the equipment not maintained properly and not all the weights matched up.

It’s is close to DLR stop. Downstairs there are restaurants and cafes. There are various choices of activities for young people. Toilet is tiny but sufficient for one person’s stay.

The room is too warm so you cannot close the window. The noise of DLR train is very loud until 12 pm.

Had bed bugs left the next morning and still have not reached back out about my refund

The things in the room were not working. For example the tv, the cleaning was bad. The other room also did not have cups to do a coffee. Terrible stay.

Booked and paid for a room for one night (20th of July 2025).I turned up to the hotel only to be told no rooms available (even though I'd paid for one); they were sorry but something went wrong with their booking system and allowed people to book rooms even though none were available. I was told I would receive a full refund (100% of my money back) for the inconvenience and for the mistake, but was offered nowhere to stay the night (no alternative accommodation was offered).I walked the streets at night feeling cold and tired. I had nowhere to stay or go. After close to a week, I still hadn't received my full refund for having booked a room but yet not been able to stay in that room which I had booked and paid for..... so I phoned them up. The refund hadn't even been processed (so they were trying to get away with not giving me one) but someone I spoke to said they'll get it sorted that day and that a few days may be needed before refund comes through to my bank account.Few days have gone by and I've called them up again as no refund is in my account. Someone said they'll transfer me to the correct person, and then cut me off. I'm considering civil action (civil court) to recover my hard-earned money that I am owed. Please, people avoid this hotel. I don't know if they're scammers or something in all honesty.

I saw the bad reviews for this place but decided to take the risk as I wanted the gym, pool, and sauna and the location was good for me. Boy was I wrong. The room was incredibly noisy and so so hot. Like unbearably hot. I had to leave at 3 am this morning just to go lie down on a nearby park bench to cool down. The chocolate I bought was melting in my room while I tried to sleep. The DLR runs constantly nearby, and people are slamming their room doors all night long. And for this pleasure, I paid over £170 a night. No way this is a 4 star hotel. This place is horrible to not stay here.

The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The gentleman who helped me during check-in(I believe his name was Shafar), was courteous and accommodating. Thank you so much!

I wished the indoor pool was open later than 11:30pm.

Said it that a sauna in the room, but did not, misleading information on advertising

I didnt get to enjoy the onsite cafe this time round but as always best location ever. Right in the thick of CW, few DLR rides away from family and so central for the airports and of course the staff were great as usual.As i was on a fitness challenge the gym was a godsend, got my workouts in early and the whole day left to explore the greatest city in the world.

Everything was good - wish i could have had a slightly bigger shower room. No complaints on anything else.

the room are falsely advertised, do not know how this is considered a 4 star hotel, walls were dirty and to top it all of there was no FIRE ALARM, surely this illegal

Great location either way easy access to Canary Wharf.

The double bed was quite small and one of us had to climb across it to get in as there wasn’t a big enough gap to one side.
