Beautiful location.

We arrived at 3pm to check in. We were then told 4 times that the room would be 20 minutes. We were made to seem an inconvenience to the gentleman at check in. We then got into the room 1630 so had to change our dinner arrangements.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent – close to local shops and restaurants, and easy to get around from. The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and it was lovely and quiet at night.The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice and fresh options available. Apart from one member of staff, all were friendly and welcoming throughout, which made the experience even better.

There was an issue regarding breakfast, as I wasn’t aware that it needed to be arranged or paid for separately in advance. This wasn’t explained on arrival. When I queried it, one member of staff was quite rude and abruptly produced the card machine, thrusting it forward as though I had done something wrong. This happened in front of my young daughter, which made the situation feel unnecessarily uncomfortable and embarrassing. Clearer communication at check-in and a more courteous approach would have made a big difference.The lifts were also extremely slow, particularly at busy times, which was frustrating.

There were pizza boxes left in a kitchen cupboard from previous people which hadn't been cleared away

We booked a room with twin beds and were given a complementary upgrade to a suite. It was very spacious and a very pleasant surprise! Staff were very polite and helpful.

The location was excellent because of its proximity to Waterloo Station but it wasn’t the most beautiful location, next to a huge derelict building though that’s not the fault of the hotel!

The view on the London Eye and Big Ben were lovely, we have admired this gorgeous view. The staff's attention to children - little bags filled with gifts, hot chocolate on arrival, stickers and so on! Absolutely lovely touches! The breakfast was delicious, so much choice and divine taste. The hotel was nicely decorated, the mattresses were comfortable in the bed and sofabed too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you for our lovely stay

We had an unexpected upgrade to a penthouse - so special! Staff were friendly and everywhere was incredibly clean.

Sofa bed in living room was creaky and a bit uncomfortable.

The room was very comfortable with lots of storage for a moderately sized room. The bathroom design was excellent as was the location for us. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It took a while to work out the shower. Instructions might have helped. The water was slow to drain in the bath after a shower. Blockage problem?

Comfortable and clean close to all amenities and a good breakfast included

The rooms are all enclosed facing inwards it was not possible to change the heating to make it more comfortable and the air circulation felt stale leaving me with a slight headache Therefore for this reason I would not recommend

Having a kitchenette in the room was so handy. Great central location with a good collection of resturants 10 mimutes walk away.

The hotel resturant is too small for the hotel and unless you're an early riser be prepared for a queue.

Great location, the studio rooms are perfect for families. Staff are kind and helpful.

Lifts can take a while in the morning. Breakfast was crowded and chaotic. Didn’t like the sausages!

Location was perfect a short walk to Waterloo station over the road from London Eye and the Thames

Nothing everything was great

The staff were really helpful, friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very child friendly and the children appreciated the little touches such as activity packs, and we loved how they offered us hot chocolate and fortune cookies when we arrived (it was very appreciated after a cold morning in London). The location was fantastic, perfect for all the main sights and attractions, and the city view from our room really made the experience. The room had very good facilities with a kitchenette, and good sized bathroom with separate bath and shower.We also all enjoyed breakfast, although it was very busy there was plenty of choice and everything was replenished regularly.

The restaurant /bar was quite expensive for the quality of the food, we appreciate there prices are average for London but the quality didn't meet our expectation, however the staff were very understanding and efficient so it didn't impact us from still enjoying our stay at the hotel.
