Club Quarters Hotel Trafalgar Square, London

Location

The location at Trafalgar Square is excellent and very convenient.

However, I was disappointed with the room. The equipment felt old and worn out, and the room was quite cold during the winter, which made the stay less comfortable and difficult. With a few updates and better heating, the experience could be much better

The location

The room we ended up with was small, the window was painted so no light, the shower was dirty and mouldy. It was nothing like the photos of what we thought we had booked through booking.com. False advertising!!! Also only found out before check out that we had breakfast included - no one told us. Asked for fresh towels at 9am and they did not arrive ever - that day or next! It was a disaster! We travelled for 3 months and this was the worst hotel we stayed at! Such a big disappointment!

The downstairs lobby was grand.

The hallways to the rooms were shabby. Typically small London room. Uncomfortable carpet. Odd decor. Didn’t clean rooms daily.

Breakfast service not up to expectation i was asked to pay in the midfle of my breakfast and also had to wait a while for a fried egg.

Central location. Clean. Great staff. Comfortable room. Great having free water, coffee and tea at any time

Breakfast over priced. We only had it once it really wasn’t good or worth the crazy price

Great location, just off of Trafalgar. Easy check in. Rooms large enough and well equipped, nothing fancy, but good. Breakfast very good- large selection and good quality.

Great location near Trafalgar Sq. An old hotel although rooms have had some upgrade work done.

Elevators were a bit hit and miss so using the stairs between 8 and 9am was a better option.

Fantastic location, hotel is very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful.

I would have preferred to have tea and coffee in the room as opposed to in the Club room on the ground floor.

Got caught out with goodies there my partner thought they were complimentary and had already opened the very small tub of liquorice all sorts before I noticed and cost7 pounds very extortionate beware lol

On arrival couldn’t find anyone to check in. When managed to get to a desk had to ask someone walking past if we could check in. I had messaged the hotel to say it was a special birthday and if possible could we have a nice view. No one said happy birthday or even made conversation with us in a friendly way. We had a room that was not the room type we booked and it didn’t have a view it was just awall. We were not told what time breakfast was or where to go for it. For such an expensive stay I was so disappointed. The room was very old and dated.

There was loads of choice for the breakfast with both hot food and cold food options. The hotel is in an ideal location with only a few minutes walk away from top London attractions such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, London eye and much more. The beds were very comfy and we heard no noise through out the night, we were also at the back of the hotel so that probably helped that. The reception and restaurant area looked stunning with lovely marble walls.

Superb location, only a short walk from the theatre, other sights, and the tube. Very clean hotel and room. Free water bar and bottles to fill in before walking the city, the hotel also has a quiet living room with a free coffee machine for guests. Staff are friendly and happy to assist with anything. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to London
