    Pros +

    • Located easy walking distance to Paddington Station. Area has everything needed.
    • The location and price.
    • Location was great,as it was close to shops, restaurants and gift shops. Very close to underground transportation stations. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly.

    Cons -

    • We were a party of 5. So room type was limited. Downstairs room 18. Room was decent. However you could hear and feel every train leaving Paddington Station. Sounds, vibration all day, yes all night long too.
    • It was a long four flights of stairs (and very narrow winding stairs for the top two stories) to get up to the room?no elevator/lift. The room was very small and the bathroom didn't even have a hook to hang a towel. Very cramped?even for one person.
    • Very outdated rooms, outdated furniture, outdated look. (no frills hotel).Tiny, tight rooms.

The staff at the front counter were amazing, you can tell this is a family business! Breakfast was traditional and good value for 7 pounds, the size of the room was appropriate and the bathroom facilities okay. Amazing location less than 5 minute walk to coffee shops, local businesses and Paddington station

The bed did have a sizeable dent in it from where I assume lots of people have sat and you do have to ask for additional pillows as they only offer one originally. The property does not have a lift so if you are on the higher levels you will need to get your luggage upstairs. We were on the second level and I’m lucky my husband is strong!

    Nice place convenient to Paddington

No lift! We are in our 70’s and walked up 3 flights of steps with all of our luggage. Wish that had been advertised!!!

The beds were comfy and the value of the hotel in comparison to the surrounding areas is excellent.

It could have been cleaner. You can feel the underground from.the hotel and a bit of street noise as it is opposite a University Hospital.

Location pretty close to Paddington station. Room is a little on the small side. Otherwise everything works!

I have to climb the stairs to my room at the top with luggage. I almost slipped & fell

    Location

The bed sheets were dirty when I arrived and I felt itchy. The cold tap had hot water coming out of it! Tiny Room

I booked this for my son for a night - Ed were staying g close by. Excellent value for money. They updated him from a single bedroom to a double on the ground floor. Compared to other accomodation in the area it was very very reasonable for an overnight stay. Easy check in and friendly staff.

Nothing - only stayed for a night but really reasonable for london and good size room.

The central position . The hotel Is in and area full of shops, pubs and restaurants. The rooms are essential but comfortable. It Is close to the tube station and to the Elizabeth line ( 5 minutes).

    The noise of the tube

Location central and close to station.

Grumpy receptionist on morning shift, late start to breakfast, cramped room.

Good location near to Paddington station.

No heating or hot water. Very noisy disturbance from underground. Room smelt damp. Stairs to upper floors are dangerous.

Excellent location, very friendly and amenable staff.

Room was rotten. Walls suffered from damp and some black mould. No door between toilet and room. (Room 26a Small single)

    The location

It’s wasn’t clean took 30 mins for someone to open the door even though the desk was supposed to be 24/7 and it was 3pm The heating was broken in the room and the bathroom had hair everywhere There was no safe place to leave our luggage before check in only a sitting room where there was other people sitting and nothing to stop uour bags being stolen

    Location

Cleanliness, Mold, no ventilation, no toilet door, toilet literally in front of you when you sleep. Actual picture of rooms to be given in website.

    The noise and vibrations from...

I was assigned a basement room during my stay. I’m not sure if it was because of the location, but the noise and vibrations from the Underground were very noticeable each time a train passed. It woke me up around 5:30 a.m. On the upside, trains do not run late at night, so falling asleep was manageable. The sink in the bathroom didn't work as well.Considering the rate of 175GBP per night, the overall quality was disappointing for the price.
