hub London - King's Cross

Modern, fairly new, clean rooms. Excellent location close to st pancreas & tube.

Simple, but updated hotel in very central, accessible location. Very convenient and modern. People very friendly and helpful. Allowed for earlier check-in with no hassle. Pleasant experience at every point of contact.

Wifi never worked properly. No real amenities which is fine but should be expected at price point. The negatives, aside from wifi, were really not dealbreakers for price and location.

Compact but functional, modern room not far from King's Cross. Always like staying at a Premier Inn, the Hub rooms/hotels are just as good - but often a bit cheaper due to the smaller size.

Air con keeps coming back on everytime you enter/turn the lights on. Lights can be hard to control. One side of double bed against the wall, a bit awkward climbing over.

Only a minor point, but the carpet was a bit stained.

Excellent location, modern rooms and good breakfast.

The man at reception (who I believe is one of the owners/managers) was unwelcoming and came across as disinterested on both days we interacted with him. This negatively impacted our stay, which is disappointing given that first impressions and hospitality matter a lot when you travel. Fortunately, the rest of the staff was friendly.

Modern, well designed, compact rooms in a fabulous location.

Extractor fan running constantly in the room - like staying in a jet engine. Had a very disturbed sleep

Comfortable bed. Convenient location

There was a man collapsed outside our room when we left early on Saturday - he knocked on our door and my daughter was terrified. I could see his bare feet on the floor through the peep hole and I opened huge door to confront him but he was passed out. I told reception as we left - but it really shook us. We were leaving really early to catch the Eurostar otherwise I would have requested to speak with the manager.

Breakfast was acceptable. Usual continental stuff and a cooked breakfast that was OK.

Difficult to say, a higher quality of the cooked food and perhaps a little more variety.

Close to station, clean, modern, friendly

Aircon and pipes v noisy in the night. Only one side of bed had charging point and bedside surface for drink/phone/book.

Why no drink-making facilities in...

First room had a dodgy shower door. Second room was OK. No hot drink making facilities. Had go down three floors to.get a coffee!

Location is fantastic as are the staff.

Unfortunately its has now been several weeks of chasing them for an receipt for my stay but are just not supplying one. And unfortunately for this reason I wouldn't stay there again as this has caused me no end of problems with my expenses.

A short walk from King's Cross Station, rooms are good value and staff are helpful. Room was very quiet too

The self check-in kiosk didn't recognise my reservation but there was staff available to check me in instead so it wasn't really a problem

Great idea to have an approach for a clean and modern place to stay near Kings Cross/St Pancras. I really liked the compartments and various configurations to store your bags too and despite the fact this hotel has been designed for those on a journey ( more so than a medium term stay ) there is space to hang coats, clothes, drawers and the bathroom is very clean and TV and Wi-Fi are great. It also has air con controlled on a control pad near your bed which also includes lighting. It’s a better, more spacious version of a similar hotel concept in Gatwick Airport and at a much better price !

It doesn’t have a window opening so despite the air con it can get a bit stuffy and damp if you have a shower.
