    Cons -

    • dark room...no mirrors for wife. outlets not convenient.
    • the elevator was out of service during my stay and I was on the 3rd floor.
    • If only they find a solution for the elevator, it is working but very small (max 2 adults) and also need to use the stairs to get to the room even if you use the elevator. However, Hotel staff were very helpful to bring everything up even shopping bags up to the room.

Great location, nice area to have your food. Great staff- very helpful and friendly

My room- the window faces the walls and it’s dark and fenced in. The bed was very comfortable- but the room was very small, especially the first night- I got a bigger room and bed the following nights- but the same “view “

⸻My stay at the Chelsea Townhouse Luxury Hotel in London was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and was delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a better room. The hotel’s attention to detail is impressive — from the vintage-style radio playing classic FM, creating a charming London and New Year atmosphere, to the thoughtful touches throughout the room that elevate the overall experience. The location is unbeatable. Just steps from Sloane Square and the beautiful Pavilion Road, you have easy access to excellent cafés, restaurants, and a lovely local market. Despite being so close to everything, the hotel sits in a quiet, refined neighborhood, offering the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility.Housekeeping was outstanding, with cleaning and service carried out multiple times a day, always quickly and attentively. The reception team was exceptionally helpful. and I would like to extend special thanks to the young man Yassin, whose professionalism, kindness, and warm smile each morning made my stay even more enjoyable.Overall, the Chelsea Townhouse makes guests feel genuinely valued and heard — exactly what a true traveler seeks. I look forward to returning on my next visit to London.

The hotel is very comfortable and quiet, with kind and attentive staff. I loved my stay and would definitely consider returning and making it my second home in London

Really great staff, really good room size for the price, very comfy bed, good breakfast, near Sloane Square.

Home away from home and in a super location

What I dislike is also what I love …. Lots of stairs up down and all around within the property but there’s a lift

It is a nicely done refurbishment of a well located town house(s). Neat, clean and tasteful.

I was given a single room which must have had no more than 9 sq.m. Not the sort of room you would expect from a 4/5 star hotel at £500 per night. I respect their search for profit but that is a room you cannot market if you want to maintain certain standards of quality.

Very nicely located hotel. The building has that old British vibe, while having very nice work done internally. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed our 9 nights there.

    Nothing, all was good.

Lift quite small, cosy double quite small

Our room faced the park and was an oasis in the centre of the city. The location couldn't be better - really a great neighbourhood, 100 metres to shops, restaurants and the tube. Not a typical hotel experience, a true boutique hotel. More like a B and B without the hovering owners. The breakfast was outstanding. We ate there every mornig of our week long stay and it never got repetitious.

The location is great, right in Sloane Square, and the staff are generally very nice and welcoming. The room size is also quite spacious, which is a definite plus.

Upon arrival we were told that the only available Junior Suite was on the basement floor, and were even advised to move to a partner hotel nearby. Only after insisting firmly for a long time were we finally given a proper room in the main building, which was frustrating. The room itself is large, but not ideal for guests with allergies since the floor is fully carpeted. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast is quite limited, and even basic tea is charged, which feels inadequate for this level of hotel.

    Location and staff

Nothing we didn’t like. If we had to say anything it was that the lift was erratic and very small ( two people can only squeeze in) we barely got in with bags. It took ages to get to the 3 floor . I was scared that it was not going to open. But this is an awesome old building so it was not a problem

Beautiful large room with a fireplace and high ceilings. Perfect location close to Sloan Square and the Underground. The staff were amazing. Highly, highly recommended this hotel.

Great location, property feels very luxurious

The hidden service charge that was added to the bill on top of what I already paid for the stay (hidden charge)

    8HasnaPosted on: 10-19-2025

I was initially given a ridiculously tiny room (room 27 I think). The size of that room was preposterous, the room was suffocating with no window to see outside. I felt claustrophobic and the cost was way too much for that room. On the second day, I asked to change rooms and was given room 1 and that was much better even though I had to pay more. The location was great. the place lovely. the staff efficient.

Having to pay more for a room and being given that ridiculously tiny room. Breakfast was costly and really average. Your pastries were not good. I had 2 guests + myself . It was a very expensive breakfast.

    10RebeccaPosted on: 10-15-2025

The location to everything was fabulous. Whether that was walking to a particular landmark or catching public transport to get to something further away - everything is at your doorstop. The room itself was exquisite and a very quintessential English vibe - which is what you want when you are visiting another country. The staff were exceptional and were on hand to assist with anything we required during our stay.

    Nothing it was perfect.
