    Pros +

    • charming, very comfortable
    • It was lovely and the staff was friendly.
    • The breakfast was one of the best Full Englishes I've ever had! The bar/breakfast area was charming at all times of day. The rooms were full of character, extremely comfortable, and felt surprisingly large for two of us what looks like a little London townhouse!

    Cons -

    • breakfast costs too high
    • It would be great if the hotel could get rid of the slight damp smell that is noticeable when you first walk into the unit. Once you're in the unit fir a few minutes, you do forget the smell so it's not so horrid and unbearable. But if they could get rid of that, I'd give the hotel 5 stars across the board!
    • WiFi access was a bit annoying. Needed to accept terms and conditions multiple timesLobby was a little too dark

Loved the decor. Service was great. Sufficiently roomy and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Overpriced, looks old, view is on the alley at the back of the building.

It was my first visit and I enjoyed it very much .

Because of the Xmas season and the high tea in lobby it was very busy .

    Location

Expensive without offering the expected luxury- we didn’t book breakfast and even when we decided to have the continental breakfast coffee and tea were extra - outrageous for a hotel of that price. Very disappointing

Nice location, quirky interiors and comfortable (but small) bed

Nothing really - it’s as advertised

    7RachelPosted on: 9-19-2024

The room was big and nice

The bathroom was suitable for disabled people and not comfortable for us. And there was no pressure in the water flow. It came out in drops. The hotel promissed to do something and did not.

    Passable

The TV in the bedroom did not work properly and the staff could not fix it

This is a really lovely, quirky little hotel in a really convenient location and, despite its central location, there was minimal noise disturbance from traffic. The rooms are decorated in an old-fashioned but interesting way and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We arrived early, around 11.30 am and were given a warm greeting. We were pleasantly surprised that our rooms were already ready and so were able to fully check-in and take our luggage to the room. The bathroom was spacious, compared to some hotels and the shower was really good. The room temperature was acceptable and easily controlled by the air conditioning. Also it was nice to have a small window to open.We had some drinks late in the evening on our return to the hotel, as well as a good quality breakfast the following morning, although this was quite pricy.

I was quite surprised, when settling the final bill to see that a 12.5% service charge had been added to all food and drink items. Considering that my husband had to help the girl behind the bar open a wine bottle as she didn't know how to, and we were sitting two paces away from the bar, what were we paying for?! In addition, adding a service charge to breakfast means that if you had a a full English with just one hot drink each, once service is added, you are paying around £25 per head, which I believe is quite steep, even for London. I've checked back on the Booking.com website and can't see any mention of the service charges. I don't think I've ever been charged for service at any other London hotel in this way.

Fantastic location. Beautiful room, very comfortable beds

    The breakfast was poor quality

Beautifully decorated, luxurious feel and amazingly quiet. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful

The hotel should inform about the bed size for usual rooms, on booking.com. it was really tiny for a couple, around 130cm. Hotel said that it is usual queen bed but anyway it should be mentioned in room details.

This is our 2nd time staying at Zetter Marylebone. The location is perfect - central to the tube, shops and parks. The hotel is just off busy central streets - so retains a small neighborhood feel. Loved the variety and quality of small restaurants close by. Staff was genuinely attentive. the decorative style of the rooms and amenities feels like you are staying at your old moneyed uncle's London Townhouse. Well thought out elegant touches of new and antique furniture and artwork.

I wish I could stay longer!

Lovely location, very quiet room - considering it's so central! Very nice staff, helpful and friendly.

    no -all was very nice!

So comfortable, friendly staff, wonderful location and decor.

    8StephaniePosted on: 5-21-2024

    Very good

It's very overpriced. There are no extras, no breakfast included, no facilities; you can get much more for this price in the same area (such as spa/gym/pool/more space)

I love the cozy eclectic townhouse vibe and the individual decor of the rooms

Some furnishings - carpets particularly- are worn out and need replacing.
