location-very close to Barbican tube station, lots of space, modern designer interior design fixtures, fully stocked with cooking utensils in kitchen with fridge, comfy bed with comfy bed linens- best for those who are staying for more than a night.

No restaurant, tiny elevators, kinda musty in the hallways, tiny lobby with only free coffee, it is very like living at an apartment building with only a small gym.

Depressing for Central London

So we booked the same day as staying based on including breakfast (at the restaurant that had good reviews). On arrival we were told the restaurant had gone into administration. We were still expected to pay full price for the stay. Additionally our room was a double, but really only suitable for one person. It had mismatched furniture, only one chair, and no room for luggage store so had to leave bags out. Without catering facilities we had to find cafes, which there are not a great selection close by (Prets or an English Greasy spoon on the council estate being the best options).I asked about cutlery to eat and was said that I could upgrade our room to have a kitchen. This was a bit of an insult given the reason we were having to sort food was that the hotel no longer had facilities.The room overall was also not in a great state of repair. We found it upsetting given for the same price we could have stayed elsewhere with full facilities, and would have done if we had been told on booking there was no catering.On check-out the hotel arranged a refund on the breakfast, but made no consideration for the inconvenience and impact on our holiday.Overall very depressing experience for the start of new year in London.

Very convenient location and excellent studio apartment with kitchen . Very well designed . Staff were excellent, friendly and professional.

Friendly staff and very comfortable room. Bed was good and room very clean. Loved the extra towels, and other sundries available 24 hrs. The bakery off the lobby was wonderful too! Great security.

The reservation did not mention an extra 15 a day charge to keep our cat in the room until we checked in. Not a problem but wish the info had been transparent upon reserving room.

The room was very quiet and very big. Had a boiler to make coffee and a small fridge. Good location with good connections to the tube and to different buses.

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

The mattress was very firm, and for me that was uncomfortable.

For a 4 night stay they never cleaned our room and never mentioned anything to us about the cleaning policy. They were to preoccupied having us sign up for the rewards program

Central Location, in walking distance from where I needed to be + public transportation is close by. A lot of restaurant and eateries in walking distance with great food!

The room was smallish and low ceilings

Lovely clean and quiet room, the bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed for a short stay. Staff were friendly and check-in and check-out was quick and easy. Close to Barbican tube station, a bit of a quieter area of town on the weekend.

Location was near the tube but didn’t have many things to do/eat nearby.

Location was excellent for us and surprisingly quiet. Very good shower and good-sized room. An unexpected upgrade which was very welcome.

The room still only provided a single small bottle of water for two people which seemed a little odd. Also, similar properties in similar price ranges in London tend to provide a coffee-maker. Here we had a rather ancient kettle and sachets of instant coffee. So not quite meeting all our expectations.
