    Pros +

    • The hotel was extremely clean and rooms where comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Nice breakfast with good choice of options. Quiet location
    • Excellent location. Staff were really friendly and efficient. Complimentary breakfast was very good. Room, although small, was equipped with everything we needed.
    • The hospitality was exceptional. Being a smaller family-run hotel, it has a personal touch that you just don't get at larger chains. The staff were incredibly attentive, the Victorian architecture is beautiful, and the whole place felt warm and welcoming."

    Cons -

    • The hotel is not in the nicest area. It is about a 10/15 min walk from Victoria station and the Victoria palace theatre. However, there is not much else to do in that area. So perhaps not a place to stay for more than 1 or 2 nights.
    • The breakfast was high quality, though I found the options a bit limited for someone with a lactose intolerance. That said, the staff were incredibly accommodating and did their absolute best to provide alternative options when I asked. They really go the extra mile to make sure you're taken care of.

Impeccable cleanliness, rooms with heaters and towel dryers. Delicious breakfast, in the best English style.

    Poucas tomadas no quarto.

The staff were friendly, helpful and polite - nothing for them was a problem so nothing was a problem for us. Location near Victoria station and shop complex was ideal and convenient for us. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast - comfy bed - everything as it should be - thank you

There wasn’t anything to not like!

    Proximity to attractions

Room was a bit small and that was after paying for an upgrade to larger room

Loved the quiet location and quaint quirkiness of the property.

The bathroom in our room was a little small .

breakfast was excellent and staff superb

bed head creaked and noisy upstairs footsteps

    5VladimirPosted on: 1-27-2026

Staff was very friendly and attentiveClean as they are trying to look after your room properlyLocation is good, but still quite remote from Victoria station

I would argue this is 4 stars, no.Not a value for money for sure.I’ve been targeting 4 stars standard and very disappointed with the aftertaste of being tricked by someone. There are plenty of places nearby providing bed and breakfast, but they do position themselves honestly as 2-3 stars and they charge accordingly. While the hotel staff are doing their best, the overall experience is not even close to what you would expect from 4 stars.Breakfast needs to be scheduled in advance and you need to decide between having tomato or beans: selecting only 2 out of 4 options available that accompanies your fried egg. Finally, beds and pillows are not comfortable.

Everything went well. Staff friendly and helpful. The room was fine with plenty of hot water. Bed comfy pillows not so comfy. Breakfast cooked fresh and gluten free options fine except for toast! The location was perfect for us, near to Victoria (about 10 minutes walk) and the neighbourhood was nice. Several coffee shops and restaurants.

The only picky thing was the gluten free toast. They tried very hard but as they had to put the bread in the oven it just would not brown. We did suggest toasting bags to prevent cross contamination.

Location, close to Victoria station. Room was a really good size and staff service at breakfast was excellent

Ideal location near Victoria station, loved the small and friendly family run vibe that made it feel more personal and comfortable when staying in London. We are country folk who like to explore and then come back to a peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle.

    Nothing bad at all

Staff were very friendly and efficient and breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. I had notified them in advance that i had a food allergy and they took this very seriously which is not always the case. Location is very handy for central London and wi-fi worked well. To be able to check out as late as midday was a bonus as it enabled me to do some work before heading off for lunchtime meeting.

My single room was perfectly appropriate for my purposes. I could imagine if you were staying for a longer period you might want a little more space.

Great location. Abdul was absolute cinema

I don’t know what else the hotel had to offer in terms of facilities. Is it just really small and doesn’t have anything? I just went to my room, the reception, and breakfast. Breakfast was really nice but the standard breakfast was limited. You could have eggs and two other things.

    10AndreaPosted on: 1-19-2026

Location is great for catching connections. The breakfast was tasty. The staff were lovely.

    9IanPosted on: 1-19-2026

Staff, location, food and cleanliness all excellent and great value for money. I have already booked to return and hope to make this my go to hotel for by monthly visits to the office which is located right next to Victoria Station.

The only slight niggle is having to book times for breakfast as the dining room is small. Its not a big issue but worth noting.

Friendly staff, good location, close to Victoria.

    Narrow stairs.

    9OrlaPosted on: 1-8-2026

Small friendly family run hotel, clean, comfortable, well run, well located, close to Victoria station and many bus routes

Lovely staff, good location, stylish reception, very nice linen and towels

Uncomfortable small bed, mattress seemed old with a squeaky headboard. Our room was in the basement so no view but that didn't matter, the problem was a staircase was above the room sounding like a herd of elephants every so often. Not ideal but maybe the other rooms are ok.

    10TedescucciPosted on: 1-4-2026

Great location in a residential neighbourhood, close to the main attractions and well connected to tube, trains and buses

Breakfast is really wonderful, the only "negative" point is the ordering formula, without buffet opportunity.Anyway, good food and special personnel!A special thanks to the cook!
