Location.

Filthy room. I found hair on most of the sheets. I was told that the cleaning staff had gone home and there were no clean ones to give me. I asked if I could use the washer to clean them myself, but was denied.

It was a nice location next to lots of shopping and restaurants. It was also easy to get to the subway. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was very hot in the rooms and our fan didn't work. We eventually got another fan which helped tremendously. It was a little dingy and could use some upgrades.

1. Incredibly strong chlorine smell-as I entered the room my sister was already there. She has been keeping the window open for nearly 2 hours, beacuse there was an extremly bad smell of chlorine. After just 10 minutes there I was feeling stomach ache and i started coughing. 2. Mold, spider web-Another thing is that that room doesn't match the sanitary needs for a hotel /hostel. There was mold and spider web in the corner of the wall (see photo)3. Dirty bed sheets- it was so disappointing to see that even the bed sheets were dirty. Like how can even the bed sheets be dirty? How is smth like this possible? On one bed there were yellow stains and hair, on another mud spots. We asked for clean ones, they said, they don't have extra sheets. We just received a duvet cover, just one.See the photos of the bathroom, i didn't risk taking a shower there. That shower didn't look safe. We asked the staff, wether we can change the room or get a refund, so we can look for another hotel, but they said, there is nothing he can do to help us in this way, so he gave us the email address of his manager, who did not answer, even today, when we already left.I understand, when a hotel/hostel is old, there are many old hotels in every country, but it is not about it, it is about poor hygiene, it is about a room that can not be offered to people as an option of living there.

The property is an old house at a good location, as are all the hotels there. The prices are quite competitive. The bed was really comfortable.

The house is in need of better maintenance. The room was stuffy without proper ventilation. The beds were placed in such a way that you had to move a mattress to open the bathroom door. The carpet on the floor and the curtains were dirty. The reception was also not the most efficient. We had to wait for around half an hour before someone came down to check us in.

Location near the Victoria station (tube and train and bus) was excellent. Close restaurant strip where locals go, and affordable.

The elevator and stair handrail did not feel terribly safe. No air conditioning and it was hard to get a window open. There was a fan but you needed to open door to hallway to be able to get air moving.

Cheap and cheerful, 5 mins walk from coach station and tube. Lovely looking building from the outside

Very ran down feeling inside, lots of modern usb sockets but sadly none worked, shower tray had a few issues. Nothing to do with hotel but has someone outside at3.30am sounding his car horn for 10/15 minutes with a lot of shouting.

I really like this location was near everything Buckingham palace was only a 15 minute walk that felt honestly like 5 minutes! Everything was clean, staff was nice, the hotel was clean we felt very safe.

The only thing was the beds did have a weird bleach smell but everything else was really nice.

The location was awesome and the room was clean and comfortable.

Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room for breakfast as the hotel doesn't have a cafe.

Tiny space. No elevator on ground floor. It was hard to move with a large piece of luggage on stairs. No refrigerator, no tea pot or coffeemaker. I struggled moving heavy suitcases to and from storage room on a very narrow staircase, neither of two front desk men offered any help.

We liked that it was a good location for tube station and not too much noise.The beds were comfy.

We didn't like being left outside for more than 20 minutes when we first arrived, waiting for someone to answer the door.The bathroom bin was rusty, along with radiator in bedroom and bathroom being filthy, the underside rim of toilet was full of disgustingly brown marks, grouting in shower was black/brown, no kettle in room though one was provided when we asked but they didn't have any cups or mugs and suggested we use the glasses in bathroom.....I think not, so we got Costa paper cups from Sainsburys.Chairs in room had marks on seat area so we didn't use them.We didn't ask for our room to be made up but they did it anyway, glad we locked valuables up in our suitcases.Bannister had come away from another part and was held together with sellotape, very dangerous from Health and Safety point of view.There was no one on desk when we first arrived as we were continuously ringing the bell for twenty minutes and once in, the reception area was covered with laundry bags waiting to be collected, we could have easily tripped over them.We won't be staying at this hotel again a in d definitely won't be recommending it to anyone any time soon

No tea and impossible to do tea or coffee in room no breakfast . No coffee in lobby

The location is very convenient. Walking distance to Victoria Coach and Train Station.The overall cleanliness is acceptable, including the toilet.

Would be better to at least provide tea and coffee facilities.The shower was leaking. Tolerated because it was just a one night stay.

Close proximity to the metro.

The bathroom was terrible with a shower stall that continually leaked onto the floor and a toilet seat that wasn’t well attached in one side. But worse than that was some kind of what I can only imagine was a mouse that gnawed on a bag of food we had set on the floor. We told the staff about the problems but nothing was done.

Good location in quiet road but not far from Victoria train and coach stations.Staff helpful and pleasant. Room small but clean and beds comfortable.

No kettle/tea making facilities and some firrings worn. Hair drier wouldn't work and shower temperamental, going hot and cold.

Everything this stay is now irrelevant. We left something important in the room and have been trying for nearly 24 hours to contact someone. There is absolutely no customer service.

One of the receptionist was really helpful and friendly

Some staff, when asked to help carry one bag, said it is not his job. Room was really dirty, curtains torn and bathroom dirty.

Lovely hotel, room was clean and just what we needed for an overnight stay. The location was great, 5 minutes walk from Victoria station and Apollo theatre. Would definitely recommend and would stay again ? Thank you
