The Melita

The staff were very friendly and so helpful. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The pastries and coffee in the morning was a nice touch. Great location. Easy access to amenities and transport links.

Cute hotel with confortable rooms. The morning tea and pastries were a nice touch. We were able to check in a bit early which was great for getting some rest before our evening plans. The room was small but worked for our group. It was great to have a mini fridge in the room as well. The room and common areas were clean and well kept. The front desk closes at 10 but there's a night porter on site who is very responsive. Great location near Victoria and Pimlico stations.

The room was a bit small and if we'd had checked bags, they likely wouldn't have been able to be open anywhere except on the beds. Fortunately we only had carry ons so it was fine for us.

Warm, clean, comfortable, and stylish room in a great location. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

A wonderful and very cozy stayWe had a truly lovely stay. Anna was absolutely radiant at the reception and welcomed us with such warmth.The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting.A special highlight was the delightful morning coffee and cake gathering hosted by Aferdita and Ismail, in a warm and friendly international atmosphere.Thank you for a truly wonderful stay – we would be very happy to return.

Friendly staff and very clean and comfortable

Friendly staff, morning coffe included in the price, they offered to watch our luggage after check-out, good location - walking distance to main sights, hot water in the shower.

Could be cleaner (we had some dust/dirt on our bedding), shower door a bit dirty, very small room - almost difficult to go around the bed, dirty and mouldy kettle, room located in the basement although with windows, passable for one night.

Lovely friendly staff. Complementary coffee and pastries for breakfast. Everything very clean and tidy. Convenient for the tube. Perfect for a quick break.

The staff in the hotel was really nice and helpful, especially both of the reception staff we interacted with. It is easy to walk to Victoria station from the hotel and also has a lot of restaurants and breakfast spots in the way.

The bed in the room was really small which led us to not sleeping very well in the night. The size of the room felt small too as compared to other hotels I have stayed at. The bathroom had a bit of an unpleasant smell and didn't have any body cream either. I feel for the price I paid for the room, the room was below expectations. The hotel provides a free pastry for breakfast in the morning during a set amount of time and that was also all finished with no refills.

I stayed for 2 nights with my friends at the Melita, and we had a wonderful experience! The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. So many great places are within walking distance, including Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, and St James’s Park. The location is perfect, and I would highly recommend this hotel!

The location was perfect - we chose this hotel as we were going to see a show in Soho, so this was perfect for getting around. There was parking right outside (we did have to pay for a couple hours before the free parking kicked in). The bed was really comfortable and the hotel stayed quiet all night. The receptionist was also very friendly.

The parking situation was not clear enough online. Also the bathroom was a bit dated, with the shower made of a strange brown plastic material.

Nice location, lovely house, friendly staff

Request to give a 10 rating or no rating at all. I do not like that kind of pressure. I had a very good stay but would give it an 8, not a 10 because the room was tiny. Perfectly adequate but I would only give a 10 to a property that exceeded my expectations in all respects.

The building is old and the rooms/stairs compact. Personally this doesn't bother me as I prefer a bit of character, but someone with mobility issues may find getting around challenging. My room had mirrored coating on the inside of the windows, which was very odd.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location, clean and comfortable

No coffee in room, only tea, requested some and was informed can only have (complimentary) coffee in reception. I presume this is to reduce cost (people always take the room coffee sachets even if they don’t drink them). But this alone has prevented me scoring the Melita a 10, everything else spot on. The only other improvement I would suggest is get rid of the wardrobe, room is too small to house this, a hanger would be fine

Exceptional Staff, Location, Quietness.

If room is in the basement, footsteps from the floor above may be heard. Also, the window doesn’t fully open-it only opens slightly at the top, in a V-shape.

I like the way I was welcomed.Cash is very kind and hospitable person.He took care of me and went out of his way to help me.The Melita is lucky to have somebody like him working there.

I liked everything.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Melita. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Their complimentary freshly baked croissants every morning really made a difference. The location was great- close to Pimlico and Victoria.

The room felt slightly small as we had two large suitcases but this was manageable, and we are aware this is normal size for central London. It was definitely value for money!
