Abbey Hotel, London Shepherd's Bush

This hotel is absolutely terrible, and I?m going to demand financial compensation for the awful experience I had with them. I feel completely robbed. They never cleaned the room in 9 days, even after repeatedly asking their staff.

This hotel was awful: no room cleaning in 9 days, terrible customer service, non-functioning internet, cramped space for 3 people, and a putrid smell throughout. To top it off, there were spiders?absolutely unacceptable!

Stank of paint. The single most uncomfortable bed/mattress I have ever slept on.

Good location ,clean, most of stuff really helpful and polite, big bathroom.

Some time can be noisy from other rooms. Room small but this is expected. There was one incident with one of staff. I asked a fridge with Extra charge. This was forgotten so one night when i came with yogurt they propose to use one fridge in kitchen. When in morning i went to take yogurt one man from staff start asking why i placed yogurt there and why i grt to the kitchen and that it eas not allowed. I explained what happened and replied "i will speak to my colleague". He was rude put me in very uncomfortable position. I would expect different approach from his side. It is not good to interrogate customer and be more polite. Also they could have a share fridge for customers.

Abbey Hotel was easy to find and very near to both Tube stations and where we wanted to be. The beds were really very comfortable. The shower room worked well for us, and our room smelled of paint, showing that they were doing it up! The hotel was comparatively cheap.

When a hotel is cheap, you can’t expect wonders, and the Abbey Hotel wasn’t wonderful. Our room was small, shabby and really hot - despite being January, we turned off the radiators and opened the window wide. The window opened onto a kind of covered outside corridor so it felt very dark and overlooked. The kettle felt possessed: turning on by itself… and the towels were so thin and frayed at the edges that another wash will probably kill them.

Staff were super helpful, but they must have a challenging job with this place...especially the rogue cleaners ...

I left my ORAL B toothbrush in the room, and when i went back to retrieve it, the cleaner was called and admitted to chucking it away... you don't 'throw electrical items away' especially such personal ones. Beggars belief.I was disgusted and demanded to be reimbursed, they did reimburse me. Room was okay, although you must take earplugs and eye mask for this place.

Staff was nice and friendly. Room was clean and livable. Very well connected to Central line and Hammersmith and Circle lines, as well as main bus lines.

The room door was difficult to close. The bathroom lights were sensor-activated but turned off too frequently. Noise from other rooms was clearly noticeable.

great location, room size is on the smaller side but when staying in London I don't spend a lot of time in my room anyway so it doesn't matter. beds were very comfortable too.

Great location, good price. Rooms were spotless & smelt clean. Helpful & friendly staff.

Original room didn’t have bedside lamps, however on request we were given the option to swap rooms where they did have them, so that was fine & no issue there. Pillows were quite hard, but again that’s personal preference.

Good location for where needed to be

Small. Felt unsafe as heard someone unlocking my door at 01:00am

Perfect location for o2 Empire, Westfield and transport links with bus stop right outside

Location was excellent for Westfield shopping and tube stations.

Convenient location for travel links. Close to major shopping outlet. Clean, tidy, good ventilation, warm room, comfortable bed. Easy check in. Upgraded to twin room on arrival.

Door lock on room from inside not very secure - room 13. Unsure whether it was locked or not. A secondary lock would be good.

Location was great, right by Westfield shopping center, tube around the corner and bus stop right out the front. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Let me keep my bags in reception in the morning whilst I did a bit of shopping before heading home.

Shower wasnt hot, only stayed one night so wasnt an issue for me.

Amazing location. Close to the underground. Directly opposite Westfield shopping centre which is massive. The staff were helpful and welcoming.

The floorboards were so creaky. The room with three beds was cramped. A bit of mould in the room. And heating was on full blast and too hot, at least we could open the windows.

Location, that's it.

Room was noting like pictures supplied when booked, room was tatty with hanging and broken light fittings. Bed was uncomfortable. Interrupted in the evening by two members of staff wanting to test the radiators.

Great location for Shepherd’s Bush and everything around there.

Room was out the back of the property and a bit isolated.

Perfect location, five minute walk from Shepherd's Bush Market Tube station, and opposite Westfield Shopping Centre. Easy check-in, friendly staff and very clean room and hotel.
