Nothing - it was perfect!
A truly wonderful stay. We got married at Chelsea Old town hall and our stay Egerton was exceptional from start to finish. They were so accommodating and made our weekend truly incredible. The magic of this hotel is how charming and small it is. It feels so cosy and comfortable. The staff were also incredible and couldn't do more for us. I would highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.
Nothing, it's a great hotel!
Super cozy small hotel near Harrods. New and comfortable rooms, nice bathroom (super the heated floor). Silent. Friendly staff.
I'd rather a buffet for breakfast, but everything was very good. Good ubication but a bit of a walk up to the sub station.
I had stayed at the hotel before and, again, it pleasantly surprised me. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy and beautiful. The staff is the best I have ever seen in a hotel. Friendly, helpful, makes us feel at ease - without any type of embarrassment or intimidation (as we sometimes feel in five-star hotels). Breakfast is a spectacle in itself and makes us save money on lunch; we only got hungry again around 4pm. Taking a warm bath in the large bathtub at the end of a day of walking around London is also a plus. On top of it all, it's next to the Victoria & Albert and there are two underground stations nearby. Final suggestion: have a dry martini at the hotel bar.
Pleasant
All was OK but unfortunately annoying lights everywhere in room. Plug socket lights, fire alarm flashing lights, key card lights, phone lights, and other random lights in the room that were impossible to turn off so I had to block out all lights using towels and stacking objects to get the room remotely dark. And the fire alarm flashing every 30 seconds was explicitly annoying. Its just a shame how this country has literally lost its mind with health and safety. Joke. Spoils a perfectly good hotel.
Great hotel with amazing staff. We were visting with a dog and everybody went the extramile to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
Bedlinens could be of better quality and beds more comfortable.
The staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. I especially appreciated my long leisurely breakfasts - lots of great choices. And all my special requests for my room were met. A big thank you to all.
Most of all I liked the friendliness of the staff and the fact that it felt like a lovely house more than a hotel . Our room was both elegant and comfortable and well appointed and there were lots of nice touches like complimentary mulled wine and jars full of delicious sweets . I will come again .
I liked it all . It wasn’t grand . Facilities are limited . The breakfast wasn’t brilliant but the staff were so eager to please that it made up for the shortcomings of the breakfast. It’s not that the breakfast was poor. It was good but not quite in keeping with the general excellence .
Cosy, charming hotel. A special place in the middle of a busy city. Very polite staff always looking to make you feel welcome.
Lovely boutique hotel with excellent rooms, a great lounge/bar area and magnificent staff.
The hotel is always lovely, warm and welcoming. The staff is outstanding and helpful. We’re a frequent guest and the only hotel we stay at in London. Thank you for always going beyond our expectations!
The staff - amounts to around 50% of the high rating. Elegantly friendly and professional. No hidden charges or unpleasant surprises on the bill. Very comfortable bed. Loads of power points around the room. Generous check out time as standard. A decent lock inside your door - makes a change. Very clean.
The service at breakfast doesn't match the high standards of staff elsewhere in the hotel.
We’ve stayed here several times. This is by far the best London hotel we’ve stayed in through the many times and years we’ve been in London. The staff is wonderful and extremely professional, the hotel is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are individually different and lovely. We always look forward to staying here. We travel a great deal and this is absolutely a very favorite hotel—returning is like coming back “home”.
Luxurious stay at Egerton House. A gorgeous boutique hotel in Knightsbridge. Great location. Staff were all so helpful. Lovely, comfortable rooms and beds. Nice and quiet. Great breakfast to start your day. And a lovely drawing room and bar for a drink at the end of your day. Good pubs and restaurants close by too. Highly recommend if your wanting a more intimate and top class stay in London.
It is in a quiet area but very close to amenities. Very comfortable throughout hotel. Informative, friendly staff. It is small in London terms, which makes it feel relaxing and person centred. Close to V&A etc and local buses and trains.
From the moment we arrived, we were consistently impressed by the truly exceptional staff. While many hotels offer great service, the team here goes above and beyond, anticipating needs and creating an experience that feels genuinely personal and extraordinary. The staff's attentiveness is on another level. It’s clear they are highly trained, but what truly stands out is their natural warmth and genuine desire to make your stay perfect.Every interaction was filled with a positive energy that was contagious. They didn't just provide a service; they made our accommodation experience feel special and unforgettable. This staff doesn't just meet expectations—they shatter them.
This is an amazing place to stay in London. Very close to all major attractions and Harrods. Very nice neighborhood, amazing service.
Great location with the most attentive staff providing a great experience. The Egerton Martini is a must and the breakfast choice and quality is exceptional.
