  • Incredible service of the staff. Thinks its the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Beautiful beyond words!

Cons -

  • What's not to like?
  • While they were helpful with my business needs, it would be a good idea to have a small room dedicated to business. A room with computers scanners and printers would be a positive addition.
  • There is no swimming pool however, my room included a bath so I was able to enjoy a bubble bath.It might be useful to include a kettle in the room.

Breakfast and afternoon tea were really 5 star.

From the moment I entered the Ritz to the second I checked out, the experience has been memorable. The doorman whose name I forget, was ever so accommodating and helpful in guiding me to the reception. The lady housekeeper was so kind to give me a tour of the hotel and help with a few photos. What can I say about the lovely, hardworking room attendant who provided turn down service! In general, the staff get all the stars! Their hospitality was deeply heart-felt and they were able to satisfy my odd requests. As for the room, it exceeded my expectations! I loved the size, the comfort of bed/pillows and the elegance of a bygone era. I miss it already and looking forward to coming back again!

There is no swimming pool however, my room included a bath so I was able to enjoy a bubble bath.It might be useful to include a kettle in the room.

The Ritz Hotel is truly iconic and world-famous. It has always been my wife’s dream to enjoy afternoon tea there and stay the night, and that dream became a reality yesterday, 9 January. From the moment we arrived, we were treated exceptionally well. As an actor, I have often heard stories of well-known figures returning to the hotel time and again, and I can now genuinely understand why. Our experience was outstanding, and I already know that my wife and I will return—next time, very likely in a suite. The food was exquisite, our room was elegant and beautifully appointed, and the staff were simply brilliant throughout our stay. It was an unforgettable experience.Christopher Lee-Power

Staying at the Ritz is a privilege. From start to finish one was welcomed as a member of the Ritz family. The decor is outstanding, the staff attentive and profession - they are so friendly. The bedroom was perfect and exceeded all expectation. Every detail was attended to. Tea at the Ritz is an exceptional experience . Though it costs more than the average person can afford it is however, great value for what is given. A one night stay in one’s life would create a lasting cherished memory. I can only imagine the quality and attention in the staff training having seen how professional they all are. The business of the Ritz is the people and that’s what makes it.

Nothing at all - the bar is set and is so high. Never experienced anything like it before.

Location is good

The hotel itself is stunning, but the check-in experience was disappointing. We were made to wait 20–25 minutes because of unnecessary bureaucracy, and the answers to my questions were unprofessional. The night manager even raised his voice at me — completely unacceptable for The Ritz. Later that night, despite my clear request not to be disturbed, I was called and woken up while sleeping. Staff urgently need proper training in guest relations. This is not the first time this happens in Ritz.

We went for the very special occasion of my husband’s 90th birthday. It was just wonderful, the young man Pierre who checked us in was absolutely delightful and our stay was as smooth as satin and as sweet as honey.

No complaints!

Absolutely wonderful. The Ritz is in Mayfair neighborhood which is one of the most upscale and opulent areas of London and this hotel deserves to be in Mayfair, simply because this it's very upscale and very opulent. Right from where you climb up the stairs to the reception area and then to your room, you feel like royalty. Mr Noor at the reception and Mr Louis at the concierge desk are the best. The entire reputation of The Ritz depends on the front end staff like Mr Noor and Mr Louis. The decor, the breakfast, the rooms, everything and everyone is just top-notch. A big bang for your buck.

There's nothing I didn't like, perhaps maybe just one thing. There are separate faucets (taps) for hot water and cold water in the sink, which means you either burn your hands in piping hot water or freeze your hands in ice cold water. I have seen this in many hotels in London. Instead of one faucet which has inlets of both hot and cold water (so you can adjust the temperature to your liking), they install two separate taps (faucets). The logic behind this weird design is best known to them. Apart from this, nothing really stands out. This hotel is one of the bestest I have stayed in, and they have gained a permanent customer in me.

Hugely enjoyable stay, beautiful rooms and restaurant, fabulous staff, great location

This hotel maintains its lavish reputation. I love the traditional attire the staff wear and their exceptional standard of service. The hotel looks beautiful and the room was large which surprised me. The food was lovely too

This is a very expensive hotel, but compared to others in the same pricing category, I think this one excels for its standard and traditional British feel.

The breakfast was fantastic. We had afternoon tea on the first day which was the best afternoon tea I have ever had. Loads of choices. Evening meal and the dancers and band all excellent. Was situated in a lovely part of London where I had not stayed before and so lots to do and next to beautiful Green Park.

Lift to the powder room because I have a disability

This iconic hotel has exemplary service; incredible food and drinks! It is probably the best hotel I’ve been to in the world for service and food. Rita the Manager could not have done more to look after us; help us; give me the best 60th birthday ever. Undoubtedly they deserve the best restaurant in the UK and two Michelin stars.

The Ritz is an experience in itself, amazing staff, everything is very very very formal. The bedroom was gigantic and very clean.Great location.

I didn't like the silence in the breakfast room (not even a bit of music, nothing). They will check your shoes (no matter how expensive your sneakers can be, you will constantly feel out of place) and the staff may make you feel underdressed, which to be honest was a bit annoying but I guess is part of the package when staying at this iconic hotel. No gym available.
