    • Family room had air conditioning; great breakfast
    • Clean, private rooms. Friendly, professional staff. Great, convenient, safe location. Good breakfast. Good price.
    • Easy to find and stay in quiet central area Reception male very helpful and efficient

    Cons -

    • Polite, accommodating staff
    • Had to use basement kitchen for kettle but had a fridge in room that was goodBreakfast good would like more dont mind paying more but cheaper on different sites. Booking. Com didnt make it clear use of kitchen but all very clean and good
    • The room is a little outdated, the lock on the bathroom door was not working and to use the shower you have to step in the bath which is not ideal for elderly people. The breakfast was ok with a large selection of items and unlimited drinks but the cooked breakfast could be approved, not much choice and the tomatoes were just cold, hard cherry tomatoes.

The family-owned hotel was lovely in every respect. We were from start to end more than happy with our room, the breakfast and above all, the friendly staff. We'd love to come again someday

The hotel is in a fantastic location with just a 5 minute walk to the nearest tube and local shops. The staff are lovely and friendly.

Simply the best place I have ever stayed in London. Great location, just few steps from the tube station, charming old building and very comfortable room with everything you need. What makes a difference is the staff, you really feel welcomed here. I would like to mention the superb breakfast (English traditional) freshly made for you. Also, the kitchen is opened whole day for you to make yourself tea or coffee, grab some fruits or to prepare your dinner. Next time in London St Simeon is my only choice.

Friendly helpful reception and other staff.Clean and a really good breakfast. You can get a hot drink anytime in the kitchen.

The rooms are small and the beds/pillows could have been more comfortable.Sadly someone in the room next to us had a terrible cough and we could hear them coughing all night.

The staff were very friendly and professional. Comfortable bed in a small but very clean room with a view of Kensington. The location is really good — many places can be reached on foot, so there's no need for public transport. Great value for money!

Excellent value for money. Good location for Royal Albert Hall. Close to tube station. Excellent breakfast which was included. Very friendly staff

Room was quite small. The top bed cover needs a good wash as was stained. Curtains coming off rails both ends when you try and shut them

The property was clean and the location was perfect. The breakfast was also good with plenty to choose from

I recently stayed at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by the incredible staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel very welcoming. The location is also excellent, just a short walk to the underground, which made getting around the city super convenient.I do have a couple of suggestions. The breakfast portions were quite small: we were served one bacon strip, one sausage, one egg, a small serving of baked beans, three cherry tomatoes, and three small mushrooms. A slightly larger breakfast would make a big difference. Additionally, the room we were given was very, very small, which made the stay a bit less comfortable than expected.Overall, great service and location, but a few improvements could make it even better.

Th price, but had I known I would have paid more and stayed elsewhere

Pretty much everything. Corridors dark, had to find the light switches with my phone torch! I knew it was bad when I drew the curtains - which were too small for the window! Bed lumpy, and could hear the guy in the next room snoring. No hot water in shower. I said that I had to leave at 7.15 but was told breakfast didn’t start until 7.30. So the breakfast I paid for didn’t happen. Breakfast staff very miserable. Not even a “good morning”.

The location is fantastic, close to everything, and the hotel feels really cozy. The staff were incredibly kind and always willing to help, they really made us feel cared for. They kept our baggages a bit more after checking out so we could just enjoy London a bit more. Breakfast was varied and tasty. It’s a very charming place and perfect for families with young children.

    Nothing to say, really.

    6PetraPosted on: 11-23-2025

Breakfast was good, with available pastries and a full english breakfast. The staff was very nice and pleasant. There is an elevator. Excellent location, close to the metro. A nice neighbourhood.

No counterspace whatsoever in the bathroom. No place to hang the towel. The only wardrobe in the room had no shelves, only hanging space. Overall lack of space to store stuff. There was 4 of us and we did not have a place to put all 4 toothbrushes.

The receptionist was very welcoming, informative and friendly

The room was very clean and very modern. You could see the time that's been put into decorating the room, even down to the cutting in. The main building was unique, it was clean and quirky, we loved it.

Amazing value for money, comfortable room, friendly staff great breakfast, beautiful building. The lift!

Access to a cuppa in the morning, as there were no tea making facilities.
