London Court Hotel

Hotel employee at the front desk was by far the best thing about this hotel. He was helpful in many ways during our stay, including storing our luggage before check-in, helping to call the airlines and coordinating the return of an item we left behind.

No lift to rooms; carrying luggage up and down three flights of narrow stairs wasn't easy.

I would like to express my disappointment with the room we stayed in during our first night. When we arrived, there was no light in the bathroom. We were given only a flashlight so that we could use it. After arriving, we left our luggage and went out, and when we returned late at night we were very tired. The next day, the problem was still not resolved. Additionally, we turned on the air conditioning because the room was very cold, but it was full of dust and extremely dirty. I turned it off because I was afraid it could affect our health. The sheets were not changed, and the floor was also dirty. Furthermore, I was charged extra money because my child is 15 years old. They claimed they thought I had declared my child as 0 years old, which is unacceptable. Overall, I am not satisfied with my stay at all. The only positive thing was the polite and kind gentleman at the reception. I hope you will take my complaint seriously and provide an explanation and appropriate compensation.

Very well situated for access to inner London, tube only a few yards away, hotel doesn`t do breakfast but pub directly opposite does a full range, extremely good value.

Room was on 3rd floor, no lifts, would check before booking next time, also the bed was small. Disappointed that room cleaning was not done until late afternoon, but not a hardship.

We chose this hotel because it was a two-minute walk from the subway station and relatively close to the city center. I have been traveling to London regularly for many years, and because of the prices, I always stay quite far from the center. However, this accommodation was close, only a 13-minute subway ride from Chinatown/Soho/Covent Garden. Which is really great! The room was tiny, but we only went there to sleep anyway. The staff was great—I really liked the electronic panel where you can indicate whether you want cleaning service or not. The room was clean and the amenities were great—I noticed the air conditioning, but we were there in January and didn't need it. We will definitely come back here next time.

Superb location - just minutes to public transport, many restaurant options close by, shops etc.Staff - extremely kind, helpful and trustworthy.

No elevator, but staff was more than happy to help with bags if needed.

The only good thing about the hotel is it's central location and closeness to a metro station.

The room is smaller than the bathroom without exaggerating. The price does not match the service provided.

The rooms were nice, bede comfortable, amenities like coffee station and mini fridge were useful and the bathroom was great as well.

There is a flight of stairs to get to the hotel which is on first floor, which was a bit tricky with all our suitcases.

Location alright. Room was above a fairly busy street.

I would have liked free bottled water and conditioner and body lotion. To be fair, they did offer soda. The man at the desk offered to go down the street and buy me bottled water.

Fantastic staff. The gentleman who worked nights is absolutely splendid at his job, as is the gentleman who worked evenings. My partner and I were both surprised by the level of customer service provided.

When we went out in the early morning and didn't come back until 4pm, our room still wasn't cleaned. We stayed in the room for two hours and let the housekeeper know that we'd like the room cleaned. Our room was never cleaned during our two night stay.

Provisions were limited. No bathmat, no hand towel, no water glass.

Location and staff fantastic. This was a last minute booking from a disastrous hotel experience around the corner. Gentlemen at reception was very helpful and helped with our heavy luggage up the stairs. Was able to hold our luggage till later for check in. Hotel was very warm, room had everything you needed and a nice big window if you need fresh air.

The only thing I would comment on was the towels weren't changed over when cleaning occured. The hand towel got moved to the floor towel. I know this as sometimes my make-up gets wiped on the hand towel during application. The toilet and shower was also not cleaned. It was just tidyed up. Its not a huge deal during a short stay but definitely needs to be addressed for hygiene standards.
