    Friendly staff, location, cleanliness

Just a very tired y room who has a covered up window so I couldn¿t see outside. Otherwise I got a great price, can¿t complain

Location was ideal for easy travel around London. Earls Court Station is literally right behind the hotel.

The bed was hard, like sleeping on a slab of wood covered by a sheet. The breakfast was lacking compared to other hotels, no hot food and extremely limited cold food options.

    7BrianPosted on: 5-3-2017

    Location close to Tube.

Breakfast food (included) was satisfactory but no more than that. I heard the sound of talking late at night in the next room, which kept me awake even though I couldn't make out the words; so walls are too thin.

    Needs renovation

    Great location, good price.

This is not a 4 star hotel - by North American standards. As well, the floors squeak both inside the room and in the hallway so if you are a light sleeper it may be hard to sleep.

The lift was not working, there was 57 steps to our room on the third floor, we are in our mid 70's so that was not good. The room was very small, nowhere to sit expect the bed which was up against the wall. This was NOT 4 star experience

    4AnnaPosted on: 3-11-2016

Hotel is located very close to a train station

It's definitely not a 4-star hotel. No way I am going to stay there again. The quality of hotel is even below a 3 star... Petite ugly rooms with no heating or A/C! 10 min waiting for hot water to take the shower. Broken elevator....

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-12-2015

Continental breakfast included. The hotel is very close to the subway (underground) station.

Their apartment building had no elevator so we had to carry our heavy luggage up ourselves. The ceiling of the unit were sloped to accomodate the roof was thus low and we had to constantly duck our head in order to move around the unit.

The hotel has been recently renovated and has a modern feel about it, it is very clean and the staff are really friendly. The rooms are small if that’s a concern but was exactly what I needed. The breakfast is a good basic continental breakfast.

There is some noise between rooms but good value for money

Location was excellent we were going to watch Chelsea play and took about 20 mins to walk too. Really close to tube station and plenty of restaurants and pubs around.

Not too keen on continental breakfasts but there was tea, coffee and toast

The room was modern (finally a proper shower pressure in the UK!!), comfortable, and clean. The hotel is small, but we knew what we were booking. In no way was that ever an issue (on the contrary, it feels cozy). Besides, the location is great - plenty of regular places to eat and an underground station just around the corner. From our room you could hear the underground, but personally, sounds of the trains did not bother us at all, they weren't loud and the bed was comfy

Our room was a bit damp, probably due to lack of constant ventilation, but nothing that opening a window couldn't solve.

It was great experience for solo traveler. I liked that metro was close and area around was pretty nice to walk around. However, room is very small. For me for two nights it was great, but definitely for longer stay it might be not comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good.

Can’t say I don’t like it, but it important to take into account that room is really small, however there is everything needed.

Location, Cleanliness, Friendly Staff, excellent room

I had a basement room, would prefer another room

    8JasonPosted on: 1-26-2026

The breakfast was adequate with a nice selection of options. The hotel is clean and the rooms are finished nicely and are very functional with good bathrooms.

Queue for designer coffees.I would however recommend adding a coffee a commercial filter coffee maker as it would save a lot of time with people waiting for others to use the other machine there, choosing rather slow to make late's/cappuchino's etc..Lot's of places seem to suffer with this now, the above could be a simple solution.

Not our first stay at the Edwin Hotel. It’s very, very clean.Staff are friendly, professional and incredibly helpful.

If I had to find one fault, it would be that a door was knocking slightly on 2nd floor- maybe a draft. But I really had to think about it for 5mins because I can’t fault the place, especially for the price point. Excellent
