Pros +
- Location, very friendly staff
- The location was great and the staff was friendly and helpful.
- It's very convenient to Paddington station for trains to Heathrow and multiple underground lines.
Cons -
- Room was extremely small, even for London. Difficult to navigate around the bed without running into it or the walls.
- There was no coffee, just tea, in the room.
- The room is exceptionally small. There was no air conditioning working in the rooms, so they gave me a 'free' upgrade to a room with a small window so I could have ventilation.

Nothing, I deeply regret I did this booking.
A small dirty hotel that only fits single rooms they call double. I booked a double but they didn't have it. Only a large single bed available absolutely different from the pictures. Couldn't stay and left to Hilton. They refused to cancel the reservation
The location is excellent, just around the corner from Paddington Station. Staff is great. Room was clean but did not match the comfort of their Hyde Park location where I stayed last year as far as mattress comfort and size. Love the complimentary drinks
I was not told that there would be constructionIn. I was on the ground floor the handicapped room which was above Paddington subway station. It was so noisy. And I saw workers on scaffolding when I tried to look out the window and do some work. That was not what I wanted to see. I was not Tod that the dinning would be at the Bella Italia. Not fun when you want to enjoy your stay. My stay was a disaster. Eventually after my complaints I was moved the the Indigo hotel, which was much much better and more enjoyable.

great location
It was impossible to get the temperature in the room to be comfortable...it was either freezing or stuffy. I know how to use the mini-split in the room but it could not maintain a comfortable temperature.
The location was excellent, I couldn’t fault it.
The toilet was far too low. As someone who is 5’4” with bad arthritis in my knees, it was very difficult & now I’m home my left knee is very swollen & painful
The room was clean and the bed comfortable
The room was small and hot
Staff was friendly and unflappable despite the giant hole in the lobby ceiling due to leakage from a guest room being repaired. All amenities in the room were complimentary: a minuscule fridge containing a few cans of cola, water and a little bottle of milk. For making tea obviously. There was a small bottle of Prosecco on the table and two Ferrer Rochera chocolate bonbons.
It was okay for one night but wouldn’t want to stay longer. Trains from the nearby station make the building shake. Room was small and old fashioned. Bed seemed short even though I am not a tall person myself and it felt uncomfortable. Bedding so tightly made up it was hard to move. Too many pillows and no place to put them.
Very near to everything to train station and metro and buses , people there were decent and helpful
The location was super nice very close to every transportation way you like, very safe neighborhood and not much noise, super friendly staff (abdul, zakaria, nipsi, clavdio and hajar), push a button and call reception and you shall get what you need instantly
The room was definitely tight tight, not suitable for big sized people
The location is great
The pictures is not the same as the room I was given. It was so small
My stay at the Mercure London Paddington Hotel was excellent, largely thanks to the outstanding service from the reception team, specifically Abdu, Hajar, and their colleagues. The hotel is exceptionally clean and perfectly located just steps from the railway station, making it an ideal choice for anyone heading to Heathrow Airport. It is surrounded by several great restaurants and is only a 10–20 minute walk from Hyde park. I was particularly impressed by how the staff followed up on an issue that arose during my stay, resolving it quickly and effectively. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, professionalism, and great hospitality.

Great location. Clean room. Friendly staff.

Not again
The room was dark, no adequate lighting, the blinds were broken and unable to operate to let light in, 75% of the power points did not work. I booked for 3 nights mainly due to location to access Paddington station. I stayed for 1, left early before checkout. The hotel charged me for all three nights and has not answered my emails for either a refund nor explanation nor provided an invoice/receipt. Staff were indifferent, when asked for a better room told no available yet all websites including their own showed availability
Sister in law had previously stayed
Early check ins came at a higher price. After traveling overnight it’s understandable rooms aren’t ready but a room was offered without air conditioning at 50 pounds more a night.
location is great. staff were very nice and professional
you can hear/feel tube - but that is price you pay for the location. But the mold in the room was awful. Might just be that room (206).
The location is very nice !!
The property is under renovation. You must clothe the windows the whole day, orherwise the workers can see everything. The cleaning staff don’t care about any timing!! 06:30am they clean the floor with a vacuum cleaner. Doesn’t matter if other people sleep at this time or not. The pictures on booking matching not the reality!!!
