    Pros +

    • The location which was very close to the Earl¿s court station and the personal touches in the room: fresh flowers and the tea kettle with a little pull out drawer filled with tea bags, coffee packets, milk and sugar. The room was so cute and comfy!
    • I loved everything. Breakfast was very good and lots of variety, I loved the room because was very spacious and so the bathroom. The hotel was very quiet and in a quiet road so very safe and comfortable, but super close to shops and restaurants.
    • The staff were really friendly and very helpful. The price was very good. Breakfast excellent. Beds are really comfy.

    Cons -

    • There was some cigarettes smell in the room but probably those next door where smoking
    • The room was a standard twin and in places looked tired. In particular the bathroom. But for the price this didn't matter. The location was a little further from central London than I wanted but again for the price it was worth it.
    • Nothing to dislike, but the addition of a self-service espresso machine in the breakfast room would be nice. (I did notice there was an espresso machine hidden in a corner nook that the servers used on a day the regular drip coffeemaker was out of order, but as it wasn’t visible otherwise, I hadn’t been aware it was an option. Now you know!) Note to people with limited mobility, there are stairs leading to the main entrance, but a lift once you are inside.

Very well maintained with nice touches, cordial staff, nearby shops, restaurants and tube station. It felt safe and appeared to be women owned and operated.

Centrally located in a rather quiet street. Nice Victorian house. Very good breakfast.

The hotel could need some renovation, but the patina is also charming.

Comfortable, good sized room, nice furnishings, clean, good breakfast, friendly staff, good quiet location

No overhead shower working, only hand held shower so couldn’t stand under the shower. Lighting in bathroom not good to do makeup.

Great location centrally located…perfect for a solo traveler! Was exceptionally clean, very hard to find these kind of properties in central London anymore. Would highly recommend, if you are looking for a good value.

Great location! The wifi needs improvement. Staff were so great and accommodating to us amd all the guests.

My pillow had mold and yellowing stains. They were quickly replaced the next day when I discovered it.

The room was quiet, the shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and the room temperature was excellent. The windows allowed very good light and I had all I needed

There were a few stairs which was a challenge with my large suitcases although I did get help from a member of staff

Smell of sewage inside the room

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Good shower. All very clean and cosy. A great location just 6-7 minutes walk from Earls Court tube.

Friendly, welcoming, very clean - and provides a great selection of food at breakfast and was very well stocked tea/ coffee / milk pods in room which was much appreciated

    For this money nothing

Great location between Earls Court and Kensington High Street and gardens.

Family run hotel, lovely staff, surprisingly quiet location, good breakfast, comfy bed & clean

    9MackenPosted on: 1-19-2026

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast, quiet room with comfortable beds and tea making facilities, wonderful location.

Would have liked to be able to turn off the radiator but you could open the window.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room; though dated and small, was clean.

It was a dump. Decor hasn’t been touched since the 80’s. Surprised this place is even listed on Booking.com. Never again.

A little scuffed but still loved the old fashioned decor.Window was very drafty and slim. Would do with new windows

    7SimonPosted on: 1-17-2026

Great location about ten minutes walk from both Earls Court and Kensington High St stations. Very friendly service. Happy with the top floor room.

Smelt a bit musty in the room, and the bathroom drains clearly needed a thorough clean as every time you ran the taps the bathroom had a pongy smell to it. The shower curtain over the bath for the shower wasn't the nicest. The lift was a bit dodgy.

Clean and comfortable. Great location. Beautiful street. Classic style English hotel.

Room was a little small but probably usual for London/UK hotel. Breakfast wasn’t what we expected. Continental breakfast looked ok, but we wanted cooked English breakfast and everything cost extra (pay more for 2nd slice of toast or 2nd tiny rasher of bacon) and the poached eggs were far from edible.
