Four Stars Hotel

It was close to travel services. The main shopping area was within walking distance.

The hotel ask, you hand your room key to reception whenever you leave the building. Ceiling was cracked, bulb over the bed had blown and burnt the plastic. Windows were old. No kettle or drinks provided The toilet not fixed securely, extractor didn't wo

The location is good, with easy access to the subway and buses, and it’s close to the main points in the city.

The staff seemed to be there just to be there, no interaction at all, and they didn’t even provide the Wi-Fi information, which is a basic thing to inform guests.There was a strong smell in the corridor, like spices and incense, which was unpleasant. The mattress was old and a very noisy spring mattress, even the slightest movement caused a loud sound. It was uneven, so it constantly felt like I was sliding off. The television was extremely small, more like a tablet than a proper TV. In the bathroom shower, there wasn’t even a place to put soap.

Great value for a central London location, just a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station. The room was clean and comfortable with traditional decor. It’s an older Victorian building with no lift so don’t expect modern chain hotel facilities for this price point or building style.

The hotel suited me perfectly. No breakfast offered but plenty of options to go to nearby.

The bed squeaked everyone i moved thin mattress onto metal sprung bed . The wooden floors proximity to main road and the noise . Checking out the staff member was asleep on the floor behind reception had to wake him to get out. Had requested and been told would get ground floor but was given 3rd floor with 2 suitcases and a holder then asked if nothing on ground was given 1st told ground was full
