Cons -
- Rooms were drab and air conditioning did not work. Rooms were uncomfortable warm

Great location, warm welcome, great service. Breakfast was great.
Really disappointed that the bar was closed from 15:00 ….so check-in ….and then no opportunity to unwind at your hotel. Understand seasonality and costs; but this wasn’t clear on booking and the price point befits a bar which is open.
Clean, comfortable and very well positioned.
Breakfast was mediocre. Cold partially cooked toast. Greek yoghurt ?
Good location with strong transport links. The hotel provides a car service if needed. Dan provided a warm welcome, offered an upgrade, and arranged a complimentary breakfast (as dining was unavailable on the day). The reception team was equally helpful and available 24/7, creating a welcoming atmosphere on arrival. The classic double room is spacious, with ample room to work and store belongings. A wardrobe and additional storage are provided, and the room was clean overall. Amenities included shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, soap, and towels. Drinking water, tea, and coffee were available in the room, along with a small snack—ideal after a long day of travel. Had breakfasts at the restaurant- plenty of options and equally wonderful service overall. Would return again.
The walls are thin so you could hear other guests enter/ leave from neighboring rooms but not a major issue. Noise was an issue with the air conditioner as it made a persistent spurting or squeaking sound throughout the night, which was disruptive to sleep.
Sloane Place is an exceptional hotel. This is my first time staying there, and I was so impressed with the facility and staff that Sloane Place will now be my go-to accommodation for my future travel to London. When I first chose Sloane Place, I wasn't sure what to expect. The photos looked good, the reviews (particularly around the staff) were positive, and the price for the location seemed fair. With these positive indicators, I decided to give it a shot. I'm happy to report that I have no regrets. The staff are indeed wonderfully helpful. I dealt mostly with Timothy and he was incredibly helpful in arranging cabs, answering my questions, and extending my stay after my flight was cancelled due to bad weather. Another great feature is the 24hr room service. The dining room keeps traditional hours, but the convenient room service means that you can stay out longer and not worry about finding food before going to bed.The cleanliness is unmatched for a hotel at this price. I travel for work around 2/3 of the year, so I stay in a lot of hotels. I've developed a routine that, before I unpack, I conduct a quick sweep of the room to ensure there aren't any little unexpected guests. I've become accustomed to finding the crumbs, hairs, and sometimes loose change left by other guests. Upon my search at Sloane Place, I was extremely pleased to find nothing. And by that, I mean, under and around the mattress - not a single hair. Between the seat cushions of the other furniture - not a single crumb. The drawers, bedroom mouldings, and bathroom were equally spotless. Sloane Place, please give your cleaning team a raise. They clean at a level that I've only found at Mandarin-Orientals and Ritz-Carltons. It far exceeds most of the premium brands at Marriott, Hilton, and IHG. I was staying at one of the InterContinental hotels in Japan last month (and no offence to their staff), but I found the hotel room cleaning was better at Sloane Place.
I ran out of space in the positive section, so I'll continue my review here. Sloane Place, if you're reading this, TLDR: keep up the high standard of cleanliness. Its a little thing that makes you stand out from your peers. The food was great and fairly priced for the location. The wi-fi and A/C were also sufficient for the price point. Areas for improvement. The adjoining members' club has a gym and spa. It would elevate the guest experience if hotel guests had some access to the amenities, even if they had to book the space to ensure hotel guests didn't overpopulate the limited amenities. Finally, **for future guests**, the hallways and rooms are older. I estimate that the last updates were 20 or more years ago (except for the bathrooms, where it looks like they've been renovated in the last 5 years). Just be aware that the decor is older but well-maintained. Sloane Place doesn't have many amenities, but it makes up for that with terrific staff, cleanliness, and great food and ambience in their dining room. In addition, the rooms could be considered small. I was in a Chelsea King, and even as a solo traveller with one checked bag and one carry-on, there wasn't a lot of extra room. I'd recommend Sloane Place for solo travellers, business travellers, and couples. Families certainly could stay there, with calmer, mature kids.
Good location & breakfast. Very chic and quiet hotel! 100 % recommended
Great locationVery comfortable beds very clean and well appointed room
The restaurant and bar were closed
Clean, near the tube station, staff very professional and helpful
The location is excellent- very close to a fabulous neighborhood and the Sloane Square tube station
The lobby is grim, there is no security (anyone can ride the ancient elevators). The rooms are very small (even though we had the largest one ), carpets are dingy and the shower never gets hot. This is a place to stay if you want a great neighborhood, not a hotel to travel for.
Friendly staff, clean well maintained rooms, really quiet, great layout and great location.
Perfect location , very clean , staff friendly good value for money and food spot on
Nothing to dislike
Great location
Elevator Renovation works going on every day during our stay which was close to our room and very noisy. No notification or apology from staff which was very disappointing. Staff need more training to elevate the Customer experience.
The location close to Sloan Square. The facilities in the room are of quality and not worn. Staff friendly and helpful.
The size of the room is too small (cozy room so the smallest they have) you really can not swing a cat, it should maybe not be sold for 2 people, carpet was stained and bathroom shower area could be better, over all not value for money.
This was a great location for staying after our dinner at the Royal Hospital, only five minutes walk away. The staff were helpful and the room quite comfortable.
Nothing we didn’t know the hotel was still under renovation .The rooms were unbelievable small and the carpets dirty ,you couldn’t open the windows.
There were no facilities for charging your iPhones or iPads .When I asked the Receptionist for an adaptor she told me to go out and buy one !The lift is used by the Staff so waiting times for the lift were unreasonable on one occasion I joined the Cleaners and hoover to get to the foyer .The Receptionist was unhelpful and rude .May I mention that the Concierges were delightful and helpful the only saving grace .We normally stay at the Sloane Square Hotel much better managed
I love the location
The rooms were noticeably less clean than usual, including the bathroom. We informed the staff immediately after checking in and told them we were heading out to give them a chance to clean the rooms again. However, when we returned, our request had been forgotten, and we had to explain the issue a second time. We then waited for roughly 1.5 hours in the restaurant and only received the room at around 11 PM.
Excellent location. Although the room was small it was extremely clean and comfortable and met all our needs.
The hotel is great. Grace at reception was very kind. I asked her to give me a call if the room was ready early, and she did-in fact, two hours before the regular check-in time! The concierge services are also very quick and helpful. They printed my documents and sealed them properly. The house keeping team also gave me extra water. My bag was stolen in one of London’s restaurants, and the hotel reacted immediately by changing the key to my room over the phone and supporting me throughout. The next morning, very early, when reception was closed, Thimothy from The Sloane Club and his colleague resolved an issue with the coffee machine for me and even charged my phone (as my charger had been stolen). So, the team is excellent. I truly recommend this hotel.
The only thing is that they don’t really have a lobby or a reception area where you can sit, but that’s absolutely fine. Thank you for a great stay!
