The Z Hotel City

I was really expecting a low quality hotel. I was so surprised to find just the opposite! Very clean hotel. Nice staff, good location. The price was right!

The only negative thing was there was no phone.

Great location, welcoming staff & quick check-in. Room was basic but functional.

Aircon made such a noise rattling against the wall that I had to turn it off so had a hot and uncomfortable nights sleep.

The design was sleek and highly functional, featuring a spacious shower. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially during the delicious breakfast.

Rooms were modern and clean. Staff was friendly

The room was too small to be comfortable with your luggage. Some of the rooms were not directly elevator accessible and we had to lift the luggage about 6 steps to get to the room. The AC in our room was not working and the staff swapped the room with one that had working AC.

Double room only suitbale for a single person as in practice the room is too small for two people and not much bathroom privacy

It was a good location and the staff were helpful.

The room was tiny and there was no space for our two suitcases. No standing room literally. Very basic to minimal amenities.

Bed are small, toilet door are glass and does not isolate the light sufficiently. dangerous interior design that may predispose to injuries, very pricey for the space permitted.

The people are nice ...

No air conditioning or heating left freezing for 3 nights.A light that you can't turn off, great for a good night's sleep.Extremely small rooms no way to contact reception from the room.

The location was great.

The room was extremely small and honestly should not be legally available to occupy. Size of a closet. The pictures are extremely deceiving.

The room was very practical for a one-night stay and since the hotel was located in between different stations (metro and bus) so it was accessible.

It would’ve been nice if more amenities were provided such as cotton and cotton swabs.

They are in a good location and clean, thats about it.

So small you cant even open your suitcase. I know space is at a premiom in London, but this is so small its rediculous.

This is a great location on Fleet Street, near St. Paul's Cathedral, the Millennium Bridge, the British Museum, near Convent Garden, great bus service to Waterloo Station It's trying to be edgy and cool, not sure it quite does that, They did have free happy hour on Sat.

The manager. was brusque and hostile. Although so front desk staff were quite kinds. They said they'd clean every other night, I was there 4 nights, and no cleaning.

The AC in my room was continuously making weird sounds and there was no way to completely switch it off. Room 306. Couldn’t sleep for 4 nights because of this.

The location of the hotel was very good, right across from the Royal Courts of Justice. It was easy to get in and out of, and there was a nice cafe right by the entrance. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was good.

The room was incredibly small, and with no windows (which is the rate I paid), but it looked even smaller than the images. As someone who is 6'5", at times I felt the bed was not big enough. The foot of the bed was right up to the wall.

Hotel is conveniently located to the business Center. Rooms were neat clean and service was good. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Walls are thin and one can hear talking in corridor and neighbouring rooms. Also rooms are very very small so will be uncomfortable for a well built person. We being on the smaller side had no issues.

Convenient location to the Strand, Old Bailey, Holborn etc

The bed and pillows are really uncomfortable, we barely got any sleep and the covers “rustle” make enough noise which isn’t good for light sleepers

Staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

No privacy room very small and tight quarters.

Great place and lovely staff. Free wine and cheese on Saturday night was a bonus... defo worth looking at becoming a member. Lovely breakfast and plenty of tea and coffee.
