Pros +
- Good price for a great location
- Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast suitable for people with various food allergies, and staff helped us to find correct information. Excellent.
- Situated in a nice neighbourhood close as 6-8 minutes to local transport.
Cons -
- Tiny rooms. Should have had hot breakfast.
- No airconditioning in our room. Breakfast is rather limited.
- I stayed in a single room. This was too small for me. I could hardly move around. I kept bumping into my boxes. This I didn’t like at all. If the single rooms could be bigger, it would make a huge difference.Double rooms were not available when I booked so I had to settle for a single room.

I liked the location. This was excellent. The hotel has excellent staff, very friendly and supportive. I liked this as well.

I had a single room for one night and it was great. It was clean, bed was comfortable and heating worked well. The room itself is small and I would not recommend it if you have a lot of luggage bc there is no space to open a suitcase. The bathroom has all the amenities and the towels are plush and big.Breakfast was great too! It is a small room (which they tell you in advance, so you need to come earlier), I was there around 8:20am and didn't have to wait for a table.
The kettle needs descaling.
The two highlights about this hotel are the location and the price. Bloomsbury has become my favorite neighborhood to stay in when I visit London for the density of culture and restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and tidy with a friendly staff. The provided continental breakfast was generous, but the dining room is small and packed tight with tables, so a bit difficult to navigate, so best get there early. I had a single room, which was very small, but well-organized with everything I could need. For some larger folks, this tiny space may be a challenge, particularly the bathroom. Unfortunately, this room (105) faces the front door, so a fair bit of noise as other guests are coming and going. This place is fine for a night or two.
A bit noisier than I'd like.
the location was excellent plus the room was extremely clean
the breakfast could have had a broader selection
Location
Check in. Size of room. Street noise.
Well run hotel. Location was excellent. Very quiet rooms considering central location.
Affordable, the amenities were decent for the orice
There is no desk for the single rooms, it is just a bedside desk. A female student had an issue with that so book with that in mind, no place to work apart from the bed.
Okay but turn the heating...
The hotel was too warm in all areas. We turned off our radiator and opened the window and it was still to hot. Having the window open meant noise at night which impaired sleep. The breakfast room was so hot we only use it once.
The location is very good. Very central.
I choose the upper floors and the room that was assigned to me was the basement. No explanation was provided by the staff when I checked in.
Cosy clean room - perfect for a short stay. Staff very helpful and ran the breakfast well. The breakfast was good.Extremely convenient location - close to Russell Square (and Tropea Cafe in the Square - good cafe), the British Museum,Tottenham Court Road Station and Russell Square Station.
It would have been nice to be able to open the window. It didn't really matter though because the room was a perfect temperature for me for the time of year I stayed - January. The Breakfast Room was small but this hotel is not the Ritz!
Really nice location, quiet and clean, wonderful shower! The pressure was amazing! Nice little breakfast spread and lovely staff
Not much to say, maybe a few more tea bags in the room? Other than that it was great!
Well located hotel with great staff. Room was fine and represented good value for money.
Breakfast options were a little meagre - continental only but slightly limited choices of pastries etc
Clean and tidy room. Friendly stuff.
A small table for a suitcase would be nice to have.
Friendly staff, room was very clean and tidy, normal room size and great value for money.
I had no problem with anything.
Very central but also very quiet. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and very good value.
Great location, option to leave suitcase at the reception after check out, very nice personnel.
Location was perfect. Walking distance to the main events in West End. Room was small but comfy and I was able to relax properly. Staff was helpful and everything went smooth during my stay.
