Very well located clean and nice staff.

The location is great, but the service is poor.

Far too expensive for what it is. The staff didn't give us a folding bed for a child (an ordinary request) and we had to beg them to obtain extra pillows. There seems to be problems of security too. The room was clean but small. The breakfast is fine.

Price was fine.

Room was cramped and slightly shabby but clean and adequate.

Very friendly staff, perfectly adequate accommodations, clean, great breakfast and location! Excellent value!

Excellent customer service by front desk... We can leave our bags for all day, even if we checkout in the morning... Good breakfast... 5 min walk from Tube station... Lot of restaurants and shops nearby...

Musty smell in room, very old carpet, 20 year old 20 inch TV in room, remote didn't work well, tiny doorways, steep stairs, no elevator, extremely small rooms and beds...

Reception at hotel was very welcoming, and I got good suggestions about pubs to have dinner in and also where I could run. Location was great - easy walking access to/from Goodge St underground station. I liked sitting room downstairs, with useful map (also a small one on room key). Good continental breakfast (cereals, cold meats and cheese, fruit, bread for toasting and pastries; orange juice and drip coffee kept fresh). Room was small but had all that was needed. Good wifi

Bathroom extremely small, although good hot shower. TV a bit weird as channel selector didn't work in predictable way.Minor glitch with room key after breakfast - sorted very agreeably at hotel reception

The location is good, but overall the room felt misrepresented and uncomfortable.

The room I received did not match the photos shown during booking. It was extremely small — definitely under 6 square metres — and the bed is not suitable for anyone taller than 190 cm, as it’s physically impossible to fit. The ceiling lamp was also dirty, which gave a poor impression of cleanliness.

The room was nice and clean, and the location of this hotel is excellent. It is in the city centre close to the British Museum. The hotel is in an old house with a beautiful interior. The breakfast was OK.

The room was quite small, so it had only a small desk, which was not big enough if you really needed it to get some work done. The continental breakfast could also be improved. The bed mattress was not particularly comfortable. However, these issues were not particularly problematic. I had a very nice stay in the hotel.

Location is great. Walking distance to several small parks, restaurants, British Museum, Foundling Museum, public transportation.

Very useful that I could store luggage before and after checkout, but the facilities for the storage felt a bit insecure.Also, no lift/elevator, which I did not realize.

The location is excellent. It’s an easy walk to Euston- less than 15 min. It’s near to lots of attractions. It’s a pleasant, safe street. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff were helpful. Leaving our bags there was convenient after checkout.

The bed was small for two and not very comfortable. Our room was next to the breakfast room so got woken up early. My brother’s single room on the ground floor was hot.

Very good ubication. You have everything close to the hotel (points of interest, buses, tube, etc) and also the neighborhood is nice.

It was a very little room, very old and also expensive for what they offer to you (July is expensive in general around London). If you are traveling a few days, it worths the value, but if you want to be comfortable, will stay many days or you need space, maybe this place is not for you.The room is very hot. They give you a fan, you can survive a few days but if the weather or humidity is heavy, the room will be too.

Old building. No elevator, no facilities at all in the room. Small room, I couldn't open my suitcases. Broken tiles at the bathroom. Stains on the floor and walls. The rooms is in another building from the reception. One of the staff members was rude.

Amazing location! Very quiet and safe area. The rooms are Ok for short trips. Could benefit from a deep clean but in general was ok, bedsheets were very clean.

Very small rooms. No lifts so you have to carry your luggage up to your room without the help of any staff.

My shower was broken so I spoke to the person on reception about it he was very polite and he has promised me a deal next time I stay

Generally it was a good stay. Very friendly and helpful staff - Sam is at the reception is really kind, gentle and quite helpful. The breakfast was ok and the lady in charge was not only kind but very punctual and really did a nice job to ensure that at 7 am everything was ready. The room was clean. The surrounding location is quite nice and the Piccadilly, Metropolitan, and Elizabeth lines are a walking distance away. Lack of a table where one could do some work. The one available is quite micro and is occupied by the stuff like tea etc.

The most challenging event was about setting the flow of hot water in the bathroom. It was either too hot or cold, one has to be careful and above all, patient. The shower itself was the basic fixed uncontrolled type high on the ceiling i.e. not hand held. The fixed showerhead sprinkled water in all directions and some of the nozzles were clogged therefore one has to be very patient.

Continental breakfast was good

72 steps with luggage was tiring with no staff helping. I had to make 3 trips to carry it all to the 3rd floor

Perfect location for our purpose. Basic hotel at a good price for Central London.
