The Connaught, Maybourne

It’s beautiful very clean and tidy and the breakfast was amazing Made us feel like nothing was a problem. The manager of the connaught You should be so proud of your staff ….amazing

Only thing disappointing was the cold swimming pool and its needs. A few plants scattered around the pool. Area.

Maybe best location of a London hotel, beautiful wintergarden, beautiful building. Staff very nice and helpful.

No hand shower in the bathroom is ridiculous for this price, small rooms in general due to the historic building, Helene Darozze most overrated 3 star restaurant in the world ;-)

Nothing, everything was perfect

We have been going to this classic English luxury hotel for more than 4 decades.It has consistently delivered the highest standard of service. The English breakfast is an additional outstanding luxury.

We cannot find room for improvement other than the opportunity to stay longer.

the set out of the bedroom, especially the bathroom. Worst shower I have experienced in all my hotel stays. No attention in the room for the guests. Coffee machine and kettle on request only, which is not mentioned on check in.

The whole stay was exceptional, from checking in, to the surprise drinks provided to celebrate our anniversary, the fantastic staff in the bars and the Helene Darroze restaurant was absolutely incredible

Good location

They are currently doing major renovation on the first floor of the property. Our room was right above the renovation and all day long there was sanding, hammering and jackhammering. It was really terrible since we were trying to sleep because of jet lag. They should not rent out those rooms because of the noise. They are uninhabitable. I would recommend calling to see if the renovation is still going on and I would not stay there if they say yes. We could hear it all the way out in reception. Really terrible job by management to be selling those rooms, in particular at such a high rate. Won’t stay here again. Lots of nice hotels in Mayfair.

Breakfast was superb but would like an individual station for fruits, yogurt, ham etc

I appreciate that seating in reception is limited but sometimes it is really nice to sit & read a paper whilst watching the world go by.

Perfect location, the staff went above and beyond to help us any which way they could. The food was amazing in the Connught Grill and the Red Room was such a nice chilled private bar! Breakfast was also 10/10 oh and the bed was one of the best we’ve ever slept in!

Everything about our stay was superb. The staff in particular were extremely efficient, courteous and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us.The breakfast was excellent - freshly prepared and beautifully presented.Helen Darroze restaurant was just sublime - the food AND the amazing Service from the team.

Absolutely charming personnel, perfect accommodation, variety of bars and restaurants in the hotel, great calm in the rooms, it feels like a second home. Thank you!

Zero space for smokers, they should have in their inside yard a heated and covered space outside where one can smoke, even if it’s not fashionable anymore.?

Despite using booking.com to get a very good room rate we were upgraded . The room, bars and restaurants were all fantastic with wonderful staff .

We did not have a kettle to make tea or coffeeWhen we asked for one, we were given the kettle and Nespresso capsules which were of no use No tea bags given as well

Did not eat breakfast but dined in two venues and enjoyed the martini bar all of which were exceptional.

Having coffee in lobby in morning would be icing on the cake
