Claridge's, Maybourne

The staffs were very kind end exceptionally professional. The rooms were clean and every part of it was shouting luxury. Foods were incredible as well.

Everything was perfect.

Wonderful location, amazing breakfast and very special service. We had a superb stay and were made to feel incredibly welcome and at home.

Would love to see better amenities (bath salts for the bath) and/or items in the bathroom like other 5 star hotels. Otherwise it was a lovely stay.

We love Claridges and have stayed for the last few years in early December. In fact we adore the place. It oozes charm, tradition, and the whole feel of the place is wonderful. The location is superb and the staff very accommodating and professional.

The only disappointment was banging/hammering noises as early at 8am coming from works carried out to the hotels new Bakery I believe - we should be informed of such works and this is the second time we have had a noisy room but more to the point early in the day. We hate complaining but when paying such a high room rate for such a special occasion we have to mention this. We have booked again directly with the hotel for Dec 2026 and hope the room issue is taken in to consideration.

Ok so this is as our 3rd time staying at the hotel and this was the most we had spent for 1 night on a room but when we got to the hotel we were early so we were told that we would be informed when the room was ready which was fine … guaranteed to be ready by 3 we went shopping came back around 230 had a drink in the bar and waited it was now 3pm and no acknowledgement of room so made our way to reception to ask how long it would be as we had a reservation at 4.15 eventually around 5 minutes later we were shown to our room and on the way was told you have been upgraded to a lovely room so myself and husband thought fantastic and after the 2 times we had stayed before we were expecting a fabulous room ???.. once we finally got to the room after turning left and left again we arrived at room 256 shown in and on first impression thought we were on a cruise very wooden ..

Breakfast was wonderful. The service staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful.

There was a leak around the shower door which spread out to the bathroom.

Literally everything, but as always what makes a hotel special are the staff..What an incredibly attentive and welcoming team.

Honestly nothing that I can think of…when the bathroom grouting on a edge of a dark marble floor is pristine white (when they could have chosen dark grouting) you can tell the level of care and detail taken to ensure the highest levels of service.

Can I say the woman that checked us in was great, Katie Reid booked us in and a was BRILLIANT. Please someone give her a raise

I booked a room to my partners 40th. When we got to claridges it was so busy and quite hectic (6pm last night) it didn’t feel very special, I was quite taken aback at how busy it was.I must say I had a terrible night sleep. Our room (224) was so hot and I was woken at 5am. I put the air con on and it was so loud, it just felt really basic for £1000 a night. Breakfast was okay but quite frankly my poor sleep over rode any positive experience.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Location makes gift shopping easy.

The new spa is outstanding. One of the best I have experienced. Pool at 30deg just great for pre breakfast swim. The cabanas would be lovely to relax on. Steam room and the most inviting sauna I have ever seen!

The service was outstanding. The staff was the friendliest and most competent we have experienced in London hotels.

So many tourists coming in to take pictures with the tree and the bars were full with external guests.

Claridges didn’t disappoint! It’s iconic in every way especially at Christmas . The decor was beautiful . The food outstanding and the staff- excellent !!

The prices are staggeringly over the top even for London . The hotel had a big party going on and it was so busy with the general public everywhere which at times , felt too much .
