The location is 5*. 10 mins walk from King's Cross but on a quiet crescent with tennis courts set in gardens. Round the corner on the main street are beautiful cafes and restaurants of many kinds and a brilliant, friendly neighbourhood pub.The staff are very polite, relaxed and friendly.

It's a little tired and old school and in my small room a large wide person would have difficulty squeezing into the shower room but the facilities were fine and for the price and location I would not complain.

Clean room, great location, good value for a decent bed in Euston. Half the price of a budget chain hotel and serves the same purpose if all you want is somewhere to sleep with a decent pub or restaurant nearby (there are many!).Bathroom very clean, shower small but functional, water very hot. Soap and shampoo supplied. My room (#7) had double doors, keeping out hall noise, which was nice. Also no road noise which was doubly nice, coming from the quiet countryside.Having stayed in many many business hotels, I’d happily stay again (but not in the summer - no air con).

As with all these types of hotels in converted old buildings, everything is old and a little ‘quirky’, odd locations of power sockets, odd room shapes and suchlike. You can make it work (eg putting the kettle on the floor next to the power socket - room 7), just don’t expect modern design and functionality.

I had a brief but pleasant stay at Avonmore Hotel. The staff was professional and accommodating, the room and the public areas were very clean, warm, and comfortable. The hotel, which is part of a much larger and unique curved building with a marked presence in the area, has maintained its historic character. The location is outstanding, close to public transport and walkable to many points of interest as well as shops and restaurants. It's a convenient and pleasant area to stay in while visiting London.

There are many steps to navigate - from street level to entrance, then up to the room, and to the bathroom within the room. It was not an issue for me personally (apart from needing to remember the substantial steps down when leaving the bathroom) but for those with mobility challenges it would be difficult to maneuver. A refresh with new carpet and paint would make the spaces more inviting and could be done in a way that maintains the historic character.

Super nice and helpful people, great location, rooms are modest, but for the price, you could not ask for more.

Everything was great, just as I expected.

Got a voucher on that booking. The location of the hotel is perfect (st pancras proximity, beautiful and safe street, beautiful park and great shops around), customer service available 24/7, the 4 adults bedroom was clean, well equiped, available earlier than expected.

Decent place, very clean, nice bathroom. Room had three beds jammed in - would've been a pretty cramped experience with three people (I was travelling alone).

Curtains didn't close properly, power sockets were placed in really odd places (perhaps extension leads could be provided?), very uncomfortable table and chair.

Location is excellent and staff are friendly

Small room in basement very small bathroom Idid not use the shower as it did not look inviting.

A really nice find in Central London for work, II stay quite often for work and this is definitely the nicest budget hotel by far. Staff were all great and the room was cossy clean and comfortable.

    Bad

I book last min for new year and after I got email say insues on the booking.com and the price go up you accept or will be cancel the booking, so I have to find another place and delays , so I don’t think the are respect for the customer

    4ArianlynPosted on: 1-2-2026

    The reception staff is friendly.

Unfortunately, the room feels more like a basement storage room and is quite unsettling. The photos do not reflect the actual condition of the room, which was very disappointing. Considering this, it is not worth the price I paid.

    9MichellePosted on: 1-2-2026

It’s in a good location & as I was staying alone it was ideal for me. It was a good price too.

Having to carry a large case up & downstairs. The property / rooms weren’t very well maintained.

Handy, quiet location in the heart of Bloomsbury a short walk fromm King's Cross. Rooms are quaint and well maintained.

    Wifi was problematic.
