Central Park Hotel

Great location, mini fridge, good coffee in the room. I like that there was a place to hang clothes.

It was very cramped. The bed was very close to the mini fridge and coffee machine so navigating around it was a bit tough in the middle of the night. The bathroom was small and had a weird smell every time you opened the door. Shower water got everywhere.

Love this hotel. Great location, value for money and friendly and helpful staff.The hotel and room was immaculate.

Unforgettable for all the wrong...

We are extremely disappointed with our recent stay.Prior to arrival, we were informed that there would be “some noise between 9am–5pm” due to building works. Based on that description, we felt it would be manageable. Unfortunately, this was not an accurate representation of the reality.The works began at 8am on both mornings, not 9am as stated, and the noise was not minor — it was intense and continuous drilling directly above our room. It was completely unbearable and made rest impossible. We experienced very little sleep and significant discomfort as a result. We have video evidence that can be provided if required.The disruption extended beyond the noise. Corridors were lined with plastic sheeting, and the overall environment felt like being in the middle of a construction site rather than a hotel. Despite being on the first floor, we couldn’t open the curtains due to builders working directly outside our window, eliminating privacy and adding to the discomfort.To make matters worse, staff were consistently unhelpful and dismissive, often appearing too preoccupied to properly deal with guests. Concerns did not feel taken seriously.While we appreciate that maintenance and improvements are sometimes necessary, the level of disruption was severely understated and materially affected our stay. For the rate paid, this experience fell far below acceptable standards.Given the inaccurate information provided and the significant impact on our comfort and rest, we do not feel we received the service we paid for and would expect this to be addressed appropriately.

Polite, friendly and efficient staff always attentive to customers from Corina welcoming us at breakfast to Ved who looked after our luggage. Great breakfast options too!

Refurbishment current and noisy in morning BUT we had been warned when booking.

The location is easily the best part of this hotel. Some of the staff was nice and helpful (not all though). Mostly hotel room felt clean (full floor carpet feels and looks dirty despite staff cleaning it). Still, I would skip this hotel

My biggest issue is the fact that staff does not have permission to actually help guests. We had a windowless room where AC broke down during the night. Pretty much the only thing staff was allowed to do was give a heater or a fan. But since the room is hot and does not have windows, neither of these really helps. The hotel did have rooms available that would have had working AC. However, since those rooms would have been a slight upgrade, the staff did not have permission to exchange to those rooms for the night. The staff's attitude also felt very unhelpful during this. So we were left to either pay for the upgrade or just deal with it. No compensation for this night has been provided. I think it's a bad idea for a hotel to not try provide better solution, but it's their choice. Either way, we will not be staying here and I recommend anyone to look some place elsewhere.In addition to this. We also had broken coffee maker and the phone also seemed broken there. Next morning we were shown another room, but that one had broken wall light and you could not adjust AC temperature. And the full floor carpet was looking and feeling dirty in both rooms. And as a personal preference, the pillows felt way too thin. Just overall a very disappointed with this hotel

Was clean

The bed was was super small, and the rooms are tiny for 2 people. There's no place for your staff and there wasn't a telephone to contact with the reception.

Location was easy to get to from Queensway tube station, also close to Bayswater. Perfect location for a walk round Kessington Gardens.Reception staff were friendly and room was clean and spacious. We were L-2 and despite no natural light had a lovely wall light feature which felt like natural light window.We did not eat there due to exploring and watching shows on an evening but restaurant looked nice as we passed.We had a rainy day so utilised the umbrellas available in reception to use, saved us from getting very wet!

I cannot say any negative about our stay apart from the noise when we first arrived to check in from the renovations being carried out but that was the only time it bothered us.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Central Park Hotel in London and would like to express a big “thank you” to the entire hotel team.The location is excellent — right next to Hyde Park and very close to public transport, which made getting around extremely easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the staff were always polite, friendly, and willing to help with anything we needed.We especially appreciated the prompt service and warm hospitality that made our stay truly enjoyable. We would definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to London and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in the city.A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Ved Parkash, whom we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay. Beyond his kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist us, he also took the time to share insights about Indian culture and the fascinating similarities it has with Greek mythology — a conversation we found truly engaging and memorable. Clean and modern room. Nice people and perfect location

Window could not open, after showering the bathroom would smell and water does not run away and gets all over the bathroom.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were kind and happy to help and the location was really good

Great location just across from Kensington Gardens. The hotel is being remodeled and the new rooms are comfortable.

There is construction noise during the day.

There is only one lift so you have to wait sometimes

The room was furnished really nicely, the bed comfortable, and everything was super clean! We didn't have time to try the breakfast, but the Conan O'Brian TV Chanel was brilliant fun

It was a shame how wet the bathroom got after a shower, but it was a wet room lay out! It's only an extremely minor thing though, the stay was still 10/10 :)

My stay was brilliant, this is the fourth time I have stayed here in four months, I will be back! The Staff are friendly, Facilities are excellent and the room cleanliness/comfort brilliant.

Genuinely nothing

The staff were lovely! I got a free room upgrade. Gorgeous bathroom and shower. Love the mirror. Plenty of towels and toilet roll. Room is lovely. Well worth the price. Has Nespresso machine and free spring water in the fridge. Nice that there is a fridge. Furniture, lighting, all modern - very nice. Rituals toiletries. Slippers provided. Free apples at reception.

Location was perfect! Decor was very modern and the room was spotless.

Shower pressure wasn’t the best and there was a slight smell from the drain on one of the mornings but overall it was lovely and an excellent price for the location

Once again, we had a very pleasant stay! The renovated rooms are very beautiful, spacious compared to most accommodations in London, and spotlessly clean. The hotel is also very close to two central underground lines and to major points of interest.Congratulations to the young man (whose name I unfortunately can’t remember) in the luggage room—he was extremely pleasant and polite.Without a doubt, this hotel remains our first choice whenever we visit London, even after so many years!

Excellent location, renovated room was beautiful and exactly as described. Housekeeping came every day and restocked everything (most importantly the coffee pod)

The door to the hallway was not soundproof so once the housekeeping started or if there was anyone talking in the hallway, there was no chance of sleep. Luckily it was mostly quiet from about 11pm to 7.30am

clean, superb location near to all public transports, shops and halal cafes

During the stay, a security suddenly interupted me and my children. We had 2 roooms and my children joined me at my room. I felt offended and I didn't like the feeling of the security accusing me for having many people in my room and he was reminding me that the room is for 2 - kinda rude because I was a guest and I had 2 rooms there. He was mistakenly thought or accused me of checking in with more than 2 people for the room i purchased. It was my children from the other room joining me instead.
