Very good hotel. It had some minor points that related to maintenance or the old building, but nothing that would affect the score I'm giving as I wasn't expecting the best hotel in the world. I needed a comfortable place to rest my head in an excellent location at good value, and in that regard, it was ideal.
It's a little cramped and my view was of a brick wall, plus the thermostat was set very warm. This was fine given the cold conditions outside, but there was a sign on it saying not to change it due to some vent maintenance. But again, none of these things has really influenced my score. I'd stay again for sure!
Location,the friendly staff, decent breakfast
The staff is Always very helpful & professional. EVERY TIME I go to London I always stay with them. The Underground is right around the corner. Close to restaurants, Pubs etc. Grocery stores Waitrose & Sainsbury's is very close by. Pubs etc. It sits on the Main Underground line...Piccadilly line...Harrods is a couple stops away, Piccadilly Circus, China Town, Leicester Square, Covent Garden...Very Easy location. Very Quaint hotel.

The location was great. The lobby was good for getting together with the 7 of us traveling together.
There were 2 of us in the room. Separating the beds made it difficult to get into the bathroom.

It’s a beautiful Victorian building. The Gloucester tube station is about a four minute walk. The breakfast included was very nice and you could order from a menu if you wanted to do so.
