5 minutes to two tubes. 5 minutes to pubs. 5 minutes to Madam Tussaud’s
Older property that is very well kept
It was a very clean and very nice place to stay, location was also very good and near the centre, very helpful the fact that the baker street tube station was also very near. We will reconsider it again as our accommodation in our next visit to London .
The room on the top floor looked like it was only recently refurbished. Very clean and cosy.
The breakfast was quite modest with food choices, with a couple of hard boiled eggs being the only warm food to select from. I would usually expect some scrambled eggs and sausages. But overall acceptable breakfast service. One thing that would make me reconsider staying again at Americana, is that there seems to be no supervision over the luggage that visitors leave to store for a couple of hours before/after they check in. Normally I would expect for the luggage to be stored in a separate room, but here I was asked to leave it in the common area of the hotel, which made me feel a little worried about it. Would be more than happy to visit again if the management reconsidered this approach.
Nothing much. Ok location.
Average breakfast, extremely small sink in bathroom. Photos of room are bit.. misleading. Not sure if m2 are correct in room description
Very convenient location for Marylebone Station, Regents Park area but on a fairly quiet street. Very helpful and friendly staff - no problem leaving bags prior to check in and the following morning. We could also make ourselves a cup of tea.Good spread at breakfast - decent coffee and croissants!Good room with windows that open. Everything nice and clean.A very good deal for the price (£119 for a double room in January)
The location is good breakfast is good
Rooms are v small TV only few channels no phone to connect the Reception our room next to school so v noisy
As soon as I arrived in the morning I was offered coffee and a snack and I left my luggage all day it was very nice
Nothing it all worked out well
I was in twin room 104, lowerground. The room is super clean, good space, everything was good in room. Very comfortable.Breakfast was simple and nice. The check out is at 11am, they allow 2 hours (till 1pm) late check out with charges of 20pounds. There is an elevator but small.
The TV provided was not smart TV. I would suggest to change to smart TV.
The hotel is in a great location. The staff is polite and helpful. The renovated rooms look exactly like the photos and are consistent with the offer presented on the website. We were surprised by the breakfasts – they were decent for a budget hotel.
For some, it's a disadvantage, for others, it's an advantage - an old building with a soul - wooden ceilings through which you can hear the footsteps above, unsealed windows or a cold floor in the bathroom.
Clean, neat room, everything was renovated, I liked I had kettle, very good breakfast with vegan and gluten free options, location was great. There was elevator in the building and staff was friendly. They are also going to install AC, which will be great plus in summer months.
There was no small fridge, which would be nice to have and the water pressure from the shower was bad, little to no water was coming out and it was difficult to shower. But other than that all was great.
Warm room
Despite requesting a quiet room, we were put in a basement room facing the main road, next to the lift and toilets. This was very noisey and you can hear the loud rumble of tube trains every few minutes. Hardly slept at all both nights.
It doesn't necessarily look like much from the outside but the rooms are really nicely done (if rather small) and everything was clean and well thought off. The bathroom was nice and the shower was powerful.
The location was perfect
Room 401 was good but the shower was not greatTook a long time for water to show as to pressure Had three showers in oneIf you can understand
Location is excellent, a quiet street that's a short walk from Baker Street underground station and Regent's Park. There's quite a few nice restaurants on Baker Street if you don't want to go too far.
Rooms are quite small, even the superior double room which we stayed in - save your money and just go for a standard double. In the quiet hours you can hear the tube rumbling by every minute or so, if you're a light sleeper like me - but it didn't stop me sleeping, and they stop running during the night anyways. I didn't find the bed to be the comfiest, but my partner slept well.
The place is very clean. The room looked very nice. Stuff was very helpful. Close to underground station.
The hotel has a great location, on a quite street in between 2 main stations, and very close to the beautiful Regent park. The staff was nice, rich continental breakfast. We were upgraded, so we had spacious room. The bed was very comfortable!
We had a problem with the shower, the staff took it to their attention, but it is not comfortable not to have a phone to the reception when you have a question or a problem...We also had to add extra 20£ for early check in, something that you usually get if possible with no extra payment.
Hello, we really enjoyed the service from all the staff and the location was excellent. Thank you for the kindness and friendliness of the reception staff (sorry, I don't know their names). We also loved the Christmas decorations in the lounge/hall; it looked like something out of a movie, very cozy. Thank you so much, we hope to return soon. Greetings from Spain.
There wasn't anything we particularly liked, just to give our humble opinion, the elevator is very small but I have to admit it has its charm being such an old elevator, so everything else was a 10/10, thank you
