Pros +
- I loved the restaurant and garden.
- the room was very specious and idyllic. Notwithstanding that the hotel is right along the Cromwell road, room was quiet and I slept peacefully
- Breakfast was adequate.
Cons -
- The safe in the room didn't work, I was promised a repair the next day but that did not happen
- Room ….bed poor, duvet cover torn, room could have been cleaned.
- Housekeeping was clearly distracted on a couple of the days I stayed, as the job was only half done. Some of the towels were quite frayed - they were still functional but it wasn't a great look. My room faced the Cromwell Road, so the traffic noice was loud. If I had not been so tired in the evening, this might have been more of an issue.

Gorgeous building and friendly staff. My room was single yet spacious by London standards.
It is a beautiful Victorian building with lovely rooms. I loved the room and staff were helpful and friendly! Shout out to Sonia and Solena!
The Rockwell was an excellent choice for our vacation. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The room was very clean, comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was well maintained throughout our visit. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. We especially enjoyed the calm atmosphere. It was ideal for our vacation. The location was very convenient and close to the metro station. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a holiday.
My single standard room was quite small but perfectly adequate to my needs. US visitors could probably use a reminder about putting their key cards in the device that makes the lights work - I was so tired when I arrived and didn't remember I needed to do this til the next day, and was puzzled when the bathroom lights didn't work. My bed was small but very comfortable. I appreciated the tea and biscuits. I had breakfast in the restaurant twice and really liked the porridge (I did not try the buffet). I was glad that I could stay an extra night when weather changed my travel plans.

After researching many hotels in London, the price for value is incredible. The room was far bigger than expected for the price. And having a lift was a pleasant surprise
The doors getting in and out were a little tricky with luggage as they are very close together but that's truly the only thing we didn't love love love.
Great location, spacious room, friendly staff and very cheap bar inside the hotel.
Very much outdated, stainy carpets, stainy armchair, old and very hard mattress. Definitely needs some renovation done. Glasses for champagne were sticky covered in some sugar syrup.
Clean, simple with some thoughtful touches. Nice people, quiet but handy location, 5 minutes from Earl’s Court. Safe to walk around.
Bed a little hard. Food very basic. Otherwise good.
Location, staff, and cleanness
Heating wasn’t working fine, and room was too small
Large clean comfortable rooms. Great location, near Earls Court station. our second stay.
Good location. Quiet and clean. Friendly staff and good breakfast .
Large, but a bit dated room. Carpets on the floor.
The location was close to transit and in an area I knew well.
The bed was a bit small but it was very comfortable
Clean and cosy!Breakfast was amazing and the staff the same! Probably the staff made the breakfast absolutely fabulos.
The room I booked was unavailable doe to surprise work. I was upgraded to a suite. Lovely room, comfortable bed.
Nice very Kensington (or London) type hotel with good location, some interesting interior and my room behind the fire escape door, which was quite fun. Close proximity to some of the key underground stations was also quite important.
I did not like the amount of water coming from the sky on my arrival, but the third day was compensating for it. The temperature in the room upon the arrival was too low and I had to tune the conditioning system to its maximum. The room was finally well heated by the middle of the night.
We had a delightful stay at the Rockell. Our basement room was very large, sunny, and comfortable, with plenty of closets and drawers. Large bathroom. Very good location, a very short walk from Earls Court Station. Pubs shops cafes nearby. Friendly staff. Jazz music and soft chairs in the lobby A real keeper!
nothing to dislike
Clean, comfortable and for the location in London good value.
The location of the Rockwell is very convenient both for the museums and the tube stations. My room was clean, cosy and comfortable. I like the 24 hour reception desk. I’ve stayed here on many occasions and always do when I’m in London. Recommend.
I don’t like how tightly the beds are made and how you can’t pull the sheets up to the top to cover yourself. Also twice I asked for a wake up call on 2 separate stays and both times was woken 20 minutes later than I requested.
