Bedford Hotel

Really well located hotel, super clean, friendly staff. Covent Garden in about 20 minutes, Soho in about 20, and British Museum in 5 minutes. Only complaint is that we were here during the summer heatwave of 2026 and there's no air conditioning.

Water issues in sink. Low pressure.

The location was close to underground stations. The room and the bed were comfortable.

It would be better to provide more napkins near the breakfast buffet, offer filter coffee as an option, and place cups near the coffee/tea station so that different cups can be used for different drinks.The bathroom was colder as there was no heating there.

Good location - not too far from anywhere using the tube. Comfortable, friendly and helpful and well priced.

There wasn’t really anything - if I was to be seriously picky - some of the butterfly/bug decor was a bit OTT - but if that’s all I can find to say - it goes to show how good the hotel is.

Great location, in walking distance to train station and the sights like British Museum and Trafalgar square. The room was very nice, I loved the big windows, it was very light and spacious. The staff were all perfect.

The bathroom was a little small, but everything was perfectly functional.

the bed is too soft. The heating doesn't work. The toilet needed to be flashed twice. Water is constantly leaking from the pipe beneath the shower in the bathroom. The overall facilities are outdated.

The location is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable for the price. The staff were friendly, and the luggage storage was very convenient. Although the price has increased slightly, I would stay here again if it fit my budget.

Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from, the restaurant is a beautiful space. We also enjoyed an evening meal here which was deliciously cooked to perfection.Great location within walking distance to the West End. Bus routes to the museums close by and are easy to navigate. Stayed with my daughter in a twin room, we liked that the toilet was separate to the shower. The beds were comfortable and we both slept very well. The staff were attentive and happy to help. On site parking was a bonus, charged by an external company, but reasonable for central London, don't forget to pay congestion fees online as well.

Absolutely nothing to complain about, but a few things of preference.There wasn't any air-con in the room, however, the windows could be opened on the latch to cool the room down, the restaurant area was very warm too. We would have preferred a shower screen rather than a curtain in the bathroom, but overall it was very clean. The TV would not connect to the hotel WiFi, so we had very limited channels and couldn't access Disney+, Netflix or YouTube on there, which was a little disappointing when we were settling down for the night but not a huge issue, we used an ipad instead, and reported it to staff for it to be fixed on our departure.

Stayed one night on a lay over. It was a very good hotel, easy to find and close to the major train stations. Located in a good central location, the room and bed was comfortable. Check in/out was very easy, with friendly staff

Not much, maybe just the rooms were a bit warm - wish i could control the thermostat a bit more.

Friendliness of the staff, location great, room quite small but had everything I needed and well sound-proofed. Warm and comfortable. Breakfast good.

I would stay again. There was nothing to dislike.

Could not get a mobile scooter in a lift, but staff couldn't be more helpful stored it and put it on charge for us and offered the use of a wheelchair

Exceptional

Unfortunately after a long day around London. All I wanted to do was sit and have a meal and a drink in the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately otvwas closed for a private event. If I had known that in advance I would have booked somewhere else.
