    Cons -

    • They wanted to bill £57 for room cleaning tip. It was completely inappropriate and I obviously refused to pay that fee. When I come to US I will check my credit card whether they took the money or not. Moreover we did not receive a final bill at check out
    • Booked "family" room for 3. Arrived just before check-in time, room not ready. Came back late the evening at 9PM, room unavailable. Only option was a single bed "cozy" room in basement. Not great but we had no choice. Very expensive for what we got.
    • The first night we arrived they put us in a room that had a smaller bed than what we paid for. The second night we moved rooms. The only small issue was the neighbors doing construction during the daylight hours.

    Location

Small rooms, we need to change rooms since it smelled like cigarettes. Staff had no problem with this.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby and the exterior is beautiful as well.

Our room flooded and the attitude was poor. They came to our room to take a look and didn¿t do anything and tried to blame it on us. They couldn¿t changed our rooms since all the rooms were booked and refused to do anything else. Poor service.

Great location in one of the best neighborhoods in London. You're not on top of everything in central London but you're close enough - a pleasant walk from Knightsbridge too (Harrod's). The hotel offers top-notch accommodation and a very nice breakfast.

    No. I enjoyed everything.

The A/C was not working, despite asking several times not effort was made to fix it. Overall the service experience was odd, perhaps they were understaffed but the bar was often not staffed and the hotel lacked service amenities.

Hotel has great location. Close to give, hop on bus, and a couple museums.

Our room was in an active construction area. Workers began construction at 8. Asked for room switch, second room was still in construction zone. No towels in room upon arrival. Despite check in being at 2, room was not ready until 4. Not 4* hotel.

The staff were all very helpful and kind. The location was great with easy access to transportation (Bus and the Tube). I wouldn't hesitate to pick this facility again.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-2-2019

Well maintained rooms, excellent location (next to the tube/public transport), relatively modern construction, Free Wi-Fi in rooms, and the hotel had air conditioning.

The air conditioning seemed to be not working at its optimum at times.

The hotel is old and beautiful - 4 stories and is an excellent location to get into the greater London area. It is quiet and trees line the street. People are nice, helpful and friendly. Great food nearby.

Excellent location. Nice room with plenty of space for extra roll-away bed. Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast included in our rate.

    Location, wifi, access to printer

We stayed in room 301 - the door was in the stairwell which was a little odd.Wish the room was a bit bigger - narrow walkway on either side of the bed - not much space to put luggage.

    The rooms are tiny!

Location is great. A couple of minutes walk from Gloucester Road station. Maybe 10/15 minutes to Hyde Park/Royal Albert Hall. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room itself was very well equipped and was finished to a high standard. Quality shower, comfy bed. Pristinely clean.

Lacks spa/pool but if that’s not a dealbreaker this hotel is a great option.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating after we had a very early am arrival in allowing us to use facilities to freshen up. The room itself was well decorated and relatively comfortable

Having booked a premium king room I was not really expecting to be in the back alley of the ground floor. Due to the location, the room was incredibly dark and therefore felt very far away from being king or premium. Despite the listing stating city views we were instead facing the internal or back alley of the building

The style, the gym and employees kindness

    Room a bit cold

The location is excellent—right next to Gloucester Road tube station, with direct access to both Heathrow and Central London. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was a highlight — all the items were delicious, featuring a delightful touch of Spanish cuisine.

The room lacked natural sunlight. The hotel's bar has a nice atmosphere; however, the menu is quite limited, and the cocktails are average in quality.
