Found this hotel via Booking.com, fantastic location, very quiet, very comfortable, brilliant staff.

The hotel was perfect. Very well priced for the area and the service and kindness of everyone working there is unmatched. The beds are very comfortable and they made a lovely bed up for my 3 year old too which he really enjoyed and even slept until 8.30am in!

Room was very comfortable and well presented.Coffee machine was a bit tricky.We had breakfast on one morning, coffee and pastries and it was excellent.The people who work at the hotel are a credit to the company.

No complaints at all and will stay more often.

Our original room had inadequate closet space. The next day we moved to a room we had liked on a prior visit. We have stayed at the Franklin numerous times. They continually earn our loyalty.

Common areas could stand some refreshing. Rooms are dark. Lighting should be improved.

A Lovely Hotel. Staff from arrival to leaving were 1st class and very polite and helpful. The only downside for me was the subdued lighing in the room. Not too easy to do your make-up in, but the bathroom did have brighter lighting. The bed & bedding were the best I have ever slept in away from my own home. Cleran crisp white bedding with feather & down pillows which you just fell into and had a perfect nights sleep.

Reminisce the luminous surroundings were very nice. The hotel layout was okay.

Unfortunately, without sounding rude, some of the staff seemed unsure about a lot of things and made quite a few mistakes

Room was a bit dark

Best best BEST bed ever. The sheets the duvets the linen pillows it was like sleeping on cloud.The smell as well and the staff it was by far the best ever hotel and I travel 8-10 times a year .Hope to come again and spend longer time just enjoying my room

Great location, very close to museums and Harrods. Stylish rooms, attention to details. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. Enjoyed our stay, rooms are nice, hotel facilities are great. Really loved small bottles of water they put near the exit, so you can take a bottle with you.

1. A bit confusing breakfast menu. Mix with set breakfast and extras you can order is not too clear. From the first glance it seems that set breakfast is mandatory to order, which is not the case.2. Discretionary service charge at the check out. It is automatically added to the bill and with the price of the hotel it just does not make sense and feels wrong. Just add it to the price of the stay as extra 20£ out of the 500£ night price is not making a difference. I do tip (and I really do it for the luggage help and room cleaning and etc), but getting £120 tip added in the final bill is not the right approach.

Excellent staff. Lovely quirky hotel I booked on the last minute. Can't fault it. I have seen reviews about having to climb to get to the bathrooms; it's an old town house where the 'room' can be over two floors - what do you expect?Would book again.
