Quietly set on a tree-lined street in central London, the Amsterdam Hotel is 984 feet from Earl's Court Tube Station. With free WiFi, the hotel is just a 15-minute Tube ride from the popular West End. Combining original features and modern comforts. Tea and coffee-making facilities, and an private bathroom. Some rooms overlook the quiet patio garden, large suites feature seating areas and kitchenettes, and some have a balcony. For lunch and evening meals, there are numerous exotic eateries in the surrounding Earl's Court district. Along with the Olympia Exhibition Center and the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum are all less than 1 mile from the Amsterdam Hotel. Home to the world-famous Harrods Department Store, Knightsbridge can be reached after a 15-minute Tube journey.

- Location was close to the tube which made travel around the city easier.
- Location - close to tube, pubs, groceries, restaurants. Friendly staff
- Location and price. Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful esp. Said. Helped book tickets. Breakfast was nice selection of usual cold foods. Good value. Tip - if landing at Heathrow, use Oyster card and take tube to Earls Court. Saves time and money.
Cons -
- There was NO AIR CONDITIONING and it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside! No fans available. The staff response was to open the windows. Well, there were no screens and I was not comfortable with wide open windows. Also, the wifi was very spotty and poor.
- Small rooms, somewhat rundown.
- Room was very small (about 8 feet wide) as noted in other reviews. Typical for European budget hotel.
