    Pros +

    • The staff, cleanliness of the room.
    • the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the service staff very friendly. The room was pleasant to have breakfast in. The hotel did not have hot water the night I arrived, and front desk failed to alert me when I checked in late in the evening.
    • Great location to where we needed to be.Friendly staff.Good breakfast.

    Cons -

    • Room quality is below standard for the price. I stay at this hotel often. The fittings are in dire need of update & should not have a rusting shower, sink that can barely drain, shower head that pops off, toilet with an unpleasant smell, etc.
    • Went hotel early at 9.30am for check-in, as the room wasn't ready and asked to come back later but room wasn't ready at check-in time 3pm also. Front office and room maintenance have no communication that resulted to check-in at a inferior room.
    • Front desk staff could have been more welcoming. No hot water was bad, they didn't even apologize.

Great location to where we needed to be.Friendly staff.Good breakfast.

They asked me to pay again when I arrived. When I said I booked through Booking.com they asked me to claim it back through Booking.com. I refused and after a while they sorted it out.On arrival in the room there was urine and toilet paper in the toilet. At breakfast they didn’t understand decaffeinated coffee and so my wife ended up with caffeinated.A nice hotel but will likely go back to Premier Inn next time.

    Not worth money, rude staff.

Paying £200 pound a night when trying to enter the bar, an arsenal ladies team employee stopped us and said “where do you think you’re going” . If it was a hotel manager that explained to us you could understand, but to have a random man tell ask you this was frustrating, given the price. And on the second night the barman stopped us at 8:45 from sitting at the back of the restaurant as they wanted to close that part, despite there being 5 people already sitting there.

Room was very clean, spacious, hotel was presented very nicely.

I had to wait until 7pm before I could get a room because there was a football team using the Hotel from when I arrived at 4pm until then. You had no access to a room, no access to food or drink, nothing. After a long travel in the rain also for the last part, it was extremely annoying.

Location excellent for Upper Street, Angel tube and several bus routes. Ideal for us as near to family. Room well appointed, very good night apart from the lights. We could not put on the bathroom light at night, without putting on the full room lights, and waking each other up. We were told this was due to wiring and often commented upon!Very near several excellent restaurants. Zaffrani family run Indian restaurant in Cross St. highly recommended

    see above re lights

Your reception staff member Madison was very helpful, I had an injury to my arm and helped me with my luggage and arranged an early check in for me. However your other male staff receptionists showed a lack of customer service and communication skills were of a low standard.

As above male staff members inarticulate, lack of customer service

In a great location, smooth and friendly welcome

Not there fault but restaurant was closed to public and we were given a coffee from the self service area but there was no milk did ask but it didn’t appear

    9ThomasPosted on: 2-2-2026

The reception staff were amazing, polite smiling and both welcoming and helpful. OJ was consistently charming helping and kind to us. Breakfast was great and again all the staff efficient and hard working. The hotel was beautifully clean throughout.

    The gym is pretty sad.

    Good location

The facilities were not available and felt very much like a secomd rate citizen. Check in was unavailable on arrival and cpuld not wait in the bar area as was closed off for an 'event' yet nobody was in there. Had to wait in the foyer withj several others, only a couple of bar stool like chairs between us. Assume this was all the case as Arsenal were staying.Upon return at 11, was told bar was closed. No room service available. Not great considering the price.

I was very disappointed with the hotel and the payment system there. I paid for the hotel on booking.com few months before arrival. And at arrival they took my card details and charged me again. The heating didn’t work and was freezing in the room. Carpet was wet for some reason. For this inconvenience the manager promised to do refund for the room, but instead they took the full payment for the room third time! Very stressful experience. They refunded double payments later, but never did any discount as promised for uncomfortable stay. I would never get back there.

Location met my needs and staff were friendly

Bathroom chrome fixtures were not clean. Lots of dark dirty streaks on them. Room 225.

    Clean comfortable rooms

Bath plug stuck and was told no maintenance until Monday

I loved the friendly staff upon coming in, and the facilities were great. the location suited us perfectly.

    honestly there isn’t anything i didn’t like !

    7ChrisPosted on: 1-22-2026

Bed was large but not a great mattress for us. Location for working at the BDC was fantastic meaning we only had to walk 50m in the sleet!

The lounge access offered little more than water and a few snacks - not really worth it.Left my wife’s jumper behind - rang them same day we left and they said they had it - my daughter went in to collect it and they couldn’t find it…. Several phone calls later nothing found… 1 lost jumper….

Room was nice and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was good quality and variety.

    8RobinPosted on: 1-18-2026

Nice modern hotel. Great location in Angel and a decent outside seating area. Rooms and hotel were clean and well kept, though the heating was set to 22c when we got into the room.

    8KaraPosted on: 1-15-2026

Breakfast was very good, paid for this separately. Room spacious Excellent location for the Business Design Centre

The air conditioning was very noisy even when switched off. Turned all to off position and there is still a fan going that made the air very dry. I do not use air conditioning wherever possible but the window didn't open either.

    7SusanPosted on: 1-13-2026

The location was perfect for the event we were attending in a local venue

The check-in wasn't very organised. When checking out, the car park would not validate so we had to go to the BDC. They wouldn't do it because the member of our party who went didn't have proof he'd stayed in the hotel, so had to come back, and a member of your reception team had to go back to the BDC with him to say it was ok to validate his parking. All a bit of a pfaff
