- It was central and within easy walking distance of Covent Garden, the British Museum and other places we wanted to visit. It also had that rare thing - a room that accommodated our family of five!
- Staff was superb. Even though I arrived 15 minutes early I was still allowed to check-in. The room had a kettle with coffee and tea available. Breakfast was plentiful and service was excellent.

Cons -
- Nothing particular stands out. It was good value for the location and housing five of us.
- The showerhead was fixed so it's difficult to skip washing your hair
- Somewhat lacking in cleanliness (especially on day 1), old and run down building

Very CleanGreat location Friendly staff
Excellent location, very tasty breakfast, friendly staff, good shower. Probably as good as it gets this centrally in London.
Somewhat lacking in cleanliness (especially on day 1), old and run down building
Hospitality by the staffs in catering
Cleanliness of toilet and room, broken curtains and bathroom door, no shower gel in shower
Location for both the West End and London Terminals is excellent. There are many underground stations serving different underground within easy walking distance. A particular thank-you to the manager. Although still in good time for my train from Euston, I had overslept and missed my breakfast time. When I checked out, the manager personally arranged for coffee and juice before I left. Very much appreciated.
Very friendly staff.
Very small room, but still comfortable stay. Good breakfast.
The hotel was good value for money. Warm and clean. Breakfast was great!
Fresh made English breakfast was great with lots of other choices. Staff was extremely nice, polite and smiley.
Would be great to have lift and bit better/stronger ventilation system in dining area specifically when bacon and sausages are fried. In the room you can find complementary tea but no coffee...
The location was great. Easy access to buses and tube and a nice walk to the downtown area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Be aware that there is no lift. Rooms are up stairs. Don't bring heavy luggage!!!
Location is excellent
The shower only ran cold water. The breakfast included was poor, especially the continental element. Very dated in its style and in need of an update with old carpets etc. Poor value for money as a result as Ive stayed in other hotels in the area that have been much better value for quality of stay, chose this simply due to availability and now I know why!
Cleanness Friendly staffQuiet street
Noise other people coming in/out
I had a small single room. The bed was really comfortable and had lots of pillows. I like lots of pillows. Nice clean and really modern bathroom. The location was a block and a half from the Goodge tube stop which allowed you access to all of London with ease. From the kitchen you could get a full English breakfast which I got a couple of times or just eggs and toast. There was also a choice of cereals, cheese, yogurt, bananas and oranges. Very friendly staff that was helpful with a couple of the requests I had.
The water pressure in the shower was not as strong as I would have liked it. That being said I am used to strong water pressure at my house. It's just not realistic to expect that in a bed and breakfast. And to be honest this one dislike pales in comparison to how great a location and how comfy my room was and how friendly and helpful the staff was.
Location is great, breakfast good, ideal place to stay for one night, rather cramped to stay longer in room 12
4 flights of stairs, was staying in shared bathroom, which unfortunately couldn't use as other people using it when I wanted too
Friendly staff, location , value for the cost
Old property, not well equipped
First off, the hotel is situated right in central london, with easy access to subway lines via either Tottenham Court Road or Euston Square, and bus stops via Tottenham or Goodge Street. This came in handy as we basically had all of Central London within walking distance, and the more far-off areas like the Tower of London or the Bankside districts within easy subway or bus rides away. The room is about what you'd expect at this price point in London, but what really made our stay worthy was the breakfast (generous helpings of Full English with additional fruits and cheeses to round up the meal) and the warm staff. The staff, especially Maggie, greeted us in the halls and even chatted with us, making it feel as if we were staying at a close friend's house instead of a cold, business-like hotel. Well worth the money and more - and definitely worth returning to in future trips!
While it hardly diminished our opinion of the place, it would have been better to have some shampoo and bathing soap/body wash in the bathroom as well. The lack of a lift to access the upper floors may be a limiting factor to others as well.

Friendly staff, good coffee at breakfast, and nice to have fresh juice. Good location, felt safe and not on a very noisy street.
The bedside light didn't work, so I had to use my mobile torch to light my way to bed and couldn't lie with a light on in bed as I would have chosen. Only a hand towel was provided, and it was frayed along the edge, so pretty shabby. Unfortunately I only arrived around 9pm and by the time I'd realised these things there was no one to tell. Cushions on the bed seemed a bit grubby. For the price point it was about what I expected in London though.
Very clean and very friendly staff - central location
Location perfect, and easy to check in and out.
The smell. It smells bad in the room and in the general hotel. I couldn’t quite figure it out, but kind of like stewed mushrooms. Shower is not powerful at all. And I was contacted multiple times about when I was planning to check in. I responded the first time on the Booking.com app, but then annoyingly was contacted on mobile as well. Breakfast pretty average as well. As I was only there for a short time I didn’t mind the majority of issues, but the smell needs sorting out. The staff at least were friendly, however I will not return.
