- Small accommodation in a very good location. Very convenient for exploring London.
- Typical Paddington hotel. Small rooms but clean and well appointed.
- Great central location with plenty of eat and drink options. Small room but comfortable.
Cons -
- Unfortunately, very noisy rooms
- Breakfast room too small and for 150 quid you’d expect a full breakfast not a piece of toast. Not good value for money. The TV uses a network connection for casting whose software doesn’t work too well.

I have stayed at the Delmere Hotel before and knew what to expect. Its location near Paddington Station remains one of its main advantages: central and convenient, yet far enough removed from the worst of the noise, and easily accessible from Heathrow via the Elizabeth Line or the Heathrow Express. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I arrived earlier than expected and intended only to leave my suitcase, but as my room was already ready, I was offered an early check-in without any fuss. I gladly accepted, as it allowed me to make the most of the rest of the day. Complimentary tea and coffee are available in the lobby throughout the day, which adds a quietly welcoming touch.Rooms in London are generally small, particularly in hotels housed in historic townhouses, and single rooms often come with very compact bathrooms. The Delmere is no exception. However, it has been nicely refurbished a couple of years back and offers well thought-through room layouts. The bed is comfortable, the shower reliably hot, and both heating and air conditioning work well.It is a reliable and pleasant place to stay, and I will happily book it again.
The single room I stayed in had user friendly features, very modern and minimalist but at the same time time enough space to be comfortable
Staff nice and friendly. Good location, clean and tidy inside, shower very good.
Breakfast extremely poor, very little choice. No English breakfast as expected. No yogurts, small selection of cereal, really poor.
Friendly staff and location
The bed was too small, and—most annoyingly—the modern light switch system was dysfunctional. All the lights suddenly turned on at 3 a.m., and there was no way for us to turn them off ourselves. We had to call the staff to switch them off using the central circuit breaker. The staff were friendly, but no compensation was offered for the incident (apart from water bottles).
A wonderful hotel within a five-minute walk from Paddington Station. The staff is polite and friendly. The room is spacious enough for one person. I was allowed to leave my luggage at the hotel after check-out, allowing me to spend a few pleasant hours in the city before my flight.
Convenient Clean, polite and professional staff
Stayed in room 15, super king bed would fit and be more comfortable. Could feel a slight quiver from the underground trains
The staff were all very kind and accommodating. They stored something in the fridge for me (rooms don't have them), kept my bags after check out and were polite throughout. The room, although small (cosy double) was big enough for 1 person. You could stay as a couple if you have backpacked before and can deal with smaller spaces. The bed was comfy, the light controls are very modern with dimming functions. There is a temperature control (but actually it wouldn't go below 18 and felt much hotter than this). The shower room is compact, but very stylish, clean, and comfortable with 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash, then conditioner and rainfall shower head. Very clean.Water tea and coffee available.
The temperature did get hot, even though I had it on the lowest and it was February (cold outside).I didn't have breakfast so can't comment. One thing I really didn't like was that the cleaner (thinking I wasn't in) opened the window from the outside without a key - meaning anyone passing could have opened my window by just pulling it up. I hadn't checked it was locked and didn't expect someone to be able to do that. The cleaner wasn't doing anything wrong - I could tell she opened windows to let air in rooms as she cleaned - but she didn't know I was still there and again - no issue with HER doing it - but the window had no lock, no security and anyone could reach all the way in, on to the desk etc. this would have concerned me if I had known sleeping there. Lastly, although a decent price for London, there were nicer hotels, bigger rooms, better rated, with great breakfasts and gyms for the same price (2nd night less so I didn't stay again) I think if this was cheaper I would go there again and again, but as you can get better for the same, the value is lost and therefore I probably won't stay again. I stayed in 3 hotels whilst there, this one was really comfy for 1 person and great location for the train station (leaving luggage so you can explore all day and come back when you need to leave with only 5 min walk with bags is really convenient) but I got a lot more/quality for my money at bigger hotels.
Convenient for Paddington station, quiet and lovely rooms
The location is amazing, the room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, and it was quiet due to the insulating windows. I've stayed at several small hotels in the area, but this one is my favourite so far.
Staff, cleanliness, breakfast
It was reasonably close to the station and quiet. The room has been renovated and is very clean. The staff were kind and friendly, and I’d love to stay here again.
Nothing in particular.
Best staff ever. Very helpful people with a genuine smile. They helped us in every manner. Room were very clean. Great location due to 4 minutes walk distance to Paddington.
Rooms have relatively small bathroom area which is a common thing in london.
Perfect location. The hotel was well priced, given the access to all London hotspots and transit. The room was new, well equipped with technology package. It was exceptionally clean and modern. The staff was very professional and friendly.
I wish the pricing I received was available year-round.
Very good location. Just 5 minutes walk to the Paddington Central station. Nice, cozy room. Very clean and quiet. Friendly, helpful staff.
The location, not far from Paddington and trains to central London. Near Hyde Park.

Although the room was small, it was well laid out and comfortable. It had everything we needed and located very close to Paddington Station.
