Best Western Mornington Hotel London Hyde Park

Location was ideal, 10 minute walk from Paddington and close to Lancaster Gate tube.

Noisy radiators

The location is ideal and the Breakfast staff are a credit to the Hotel, the breakfast is good the service from the breakfast staff is excellent.

Attention to detail by cleaning staff could be better .Also some important things in the room need fixing.Our Extraction fan in room 15 didn’t work (reported first day nothing done )Why send emails out saying if there’s anything we can do (twice)Then do nothing not even an explanation.

Location, comfy bed, reasonable price

Had room 101 which backed onto the lift - was very noisy we could hear the lift noise and doors open close when in bed. Wasn’t great Also sofa bed was below a roof light - early in the morning my daughter was woken by dripping noise from above (gutters maybe?) and also plant noise

Water was off when we arrived at midday and not back on until early evening. We could not go to the toilet or have a shower before heading out to our pre planned dinner and theatre. The hotel gave us 3 small cans of drinking water. Reception staff seemed unconcerned. Large bottles of water should have been supplied so we could have at least flushed the loo! This spoilt the first night of our stayWindows in room could not open so it was stuffy

The location was perfect and the bed was very comfortable.

The shower was not good, coming off the wall and difficult to use as the head kept moving away towards the wall.

Super central, a few minutes from the underground station. Nice pub near the hotel with really good food

Staff very welcoming

Shower water pressure was terrible. Also room looked clean on the surface but on closer inspection could have been much better eg bed spread had stains on the back, floor was dusty.

The location

Really tiny poky rooms. No space to move. Heating was an issue. Room service was lax.

The location of the hotel is great and the staff are friendly. Pleasant common areas. Check-in and check-out was all smooth.

The rooms are very tired and would benefit from some renovation - especially for a 4-star hotel. The room I got was small with the view of a wall. The furniture is old and the armchair very stained. The aircon (that also servers as a heater) was very noisy and I had to turn it off at night to be able to sleep. The shower has almost no water pressure.

The staff did move us to another room after there was wet paint in our first room but the new room still was not great as the shower had no hot water! The breakfast staff were very polite and nice!

We asked for drinks at the bar and the man could not make the drinks listed on the menu, then he proceeded to pour us flat prosecco that was definitely old! Not worth the money we paid:(

Room was small not big & washroom also was small.

Friendly, efficient staff. Nice breakfast. Location very good. Room a decent size.

Only one bedside table. Room overlooked a horrible area. Difficult to keep the water in the shower so the bathroom floor got wet. Too hot in the room - no instructions on how to use the heating control panel. Only one hand towel in the bathroom.

Fabulous location and very close to central London. We found staff very polite and the hotel clean and tidy.

It was, clean and convenient to where we needed to be.

We could hear the next room as there was a joining for between the rooms.

Good location close to Lancaster Gate Station. It is less than 5 minutes walk. Basic but good to use as a base if you are sightseeing. Comfortable bed.

Fitness room is just a room with 2 machines and basic weights. Did not bother to use it.

I arrived at the hotel early hoping to just use the bathroom & drop my bag but my room was already ready. This made my day go even more smoothly.The hotel was perfect location for an event I was attending but it was very close to the tube and bus stops for getting around as well as restaurants for food in the evening

The location is amazing and the staff are friendly. The lady who helped me (with red in her hair) was so nice. I felt bad for complaining after mt first stay, but she went out of her way to ensure she changed my room for the following stay and that was so much better.

The water pressure in the shower on the top floor. 3rd floor was much better.

Personel at the reception was very helpful. I love the breakfast. Everything is delicious but the most I like the whole personel at the breakfast. They are one of the reasons that I keep coming back.

Staff were all excellent - really helpful and prioritised customer service - great to see and rare! Good value for money hotel. Breakfast exceeded expectations.
