Pros +
- The location was threat. Close to public transportation and walkable dining and sights.
- The staff was very friendly and they had 24 hour front desk. The outside of the hotel was very cute and the neighborhood was great. They held onto our luggage when we checked out early but still wanted to explore the city a bit more before catching our train.

Cons -
- Tv remote was missing and staff said would have to get to us in morning. Never got one. Towels were picked up but not all replaced and when we returned was told would be morning before replaced. In cool April, room was very hot;Hard to sleep/get ready.
- The room seemed semi-clean but the sheets/ blankets seemed very outdated that it gave the room a motel look. Also they have a sign in the bathroom to reuse your towels but the towels were very rough to begin with and small. I feel like they just didn't want to provide you with more towels. It was very dusty in the room as well. It was an okay stay but probably wouldn't stay here again.
- The room was in the Basement, which they called the "1st" floor" and was right next to the dining hall, and also facing the street. So I was woken up every morning at 6am to the clanging of the kitchen staff making what was an absolutely horrible breakfast, as everything was cheap, low quality, and could've been purchased from Walmart. DO NOT opt for the $17 breakfast option. The beds were far too stiff for my liking, and the pillows were so thin, my neck and back were screwed up for the whole trip during and after my stay. The carpets were sticky and gross and I bet had never been shampooed, and because the room was also facing the street, was also woken up at night by road noise and loud drunk people.

The location is amazing, close to Paddington station and. Hyde Park. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. People complaining about the room size forget they are in London and are expecting the 4 seasons on a budget price. It is a budget hotel and offers budget services. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very friendly staff.
The shower is a little bit small. Other than that. The hotel was great.
It was somewhat close to Paddington station from where we could easily travel to airport.
The bathroom was very small, it was really hard to take shower. The towels that were changed and were given to us every day were dirty most of the time, we found hair sometimes, and they looked very used and not cleaned properly.
Location is good. Staff are helpful and professional
Small rooms, i had ants in my bathroom, my room was on the lower floor two meters away from the restaurants, the noise and music woke me up every morning at 7 am.After i complained to the staff they moved me to another room in a higher floor. The room was very hot with a portable ac that didn’t do the job
Staff helpful, especially Cristina. The heating in bathroom of 302 was very powerful, but I advise to repair its regulation, because it was not possible to switch it off.
Minifridge was nearly not cooling, but the service employee found it ok.
Very friendly staff. Quad room was great -kids were in actual beds not soda beds or camp beds. Room was clean. Plenty of tea and coffee, plenty of toiletries. Great location:)
Shower was so hot the kids couldn’t get in (even after running the water for 5mins). My husband & I struggled to get under the shower, had to stand to one side & splash water over ourselves. Breakfast was disappointing. English breakfast was cold, yoghurt was warm.
Location is perfect for a solo traveller. Nazim at the reception desk was very helpful.
Housekeeping didn't refresh the shampoos etc any day. I had to ask for it.
Duke Of Leinster Hotel is a fantastic choice for those visiting London for a short period. The hotel is located in a lovely area, close to many attractions and public transport. The rooms are not large, but they have modern amenities that make the stay comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with recommendations or requests. The breakfast is varied and delicious, perfect for starting the day. Overall, Duke Of Leinster Hotel provides an excellent experience and a great base for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in London!
The rooms are not that big.
Great location. Very good facilities. The rooms are very comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
Nasim was a gent on reception. The room was a little hot but he provided a solution immediately. Can't recommend enough.
Was perfect
The hotel is a short Uber journey from Paddington station. We found it a nice quiet location. We were staying on the 5th floor and had to use the lift. Be aware if you’re claustrophobic you might prefer to take the stairs. The lift was tiny and a real squash for 3 people with overnight bag, couldn’t work out if it was going up as the arrows weren’t working, very creaky and made us nervous it would break down. Thankfully it didn’t. The room was large with a table , chairs huge mirror , and plenty of storage space we had 2 double and 1 single comfortable beds. The bathroom albeit small gave us all we needed, however I had to run the tap for a significant amount of time to get cold water and the hot water is BOILING! The shower was small but powerful with plenty of shower gel, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Plenty of fresh clean towels.
Location, it's clean.
Some guy entered my room at 10am :) I was naked in bed, as a woman solo traveller. Nobody helped me with my bags even though there was two men working at reception desk. -1 lower ground floor smelled like sewage. Horrible experience.
Very close to several underground stations, 5min from Hyde park. Close around the hotel there are grocery stores, food places and caffee shops. Hotel had free coffee, good wifi and very professional staff.
Bed in our room was rather small for me and my wife, and we're pretty average size. I always had a feeling my feet are hanging off the bed. Bathroom is also very small.
Good price. Good location. Did not expect a below groundfloor room, not a fan but it was big and comfy. Had an inconvinience with the payment but it got resolved easily. Surprisingly good breakfast
Excellent location close to Hyde park and near to cafes and shops. Metro station and bus stations within 5 minutes of walking. The location was very good and the staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful.
The double room was a bit small for 2 people, but overall I am satisfied.
Good location.
Run down rooms. The staff really couldn’t care less about the visitors.
Great location. Beautiful building
Incredibly uncomfortable pillows together with an unbearably hot room (in February) made it very difficult to sleep which was disappointing
Location was perfect, easy to get to attractions and close to public transport.Staff were polite and nice to deal with.
