Marrable's Farringdon Hotel

Great hotel with cery good breakfast (plenty choices) and super nice personel! Good location 5 min walk from metro station and many nice restaurants in vicinity plus less then 15min walk to the Sadler’s well Theater

Great location and I have enjoyed staying here before.

The hotel seems to have taken a turn for the worst. No hot water or tea or coffee making facilities on any of the floors. Come on. You have to provide hot beverages even in a 3 star hotel.

Location is great and staff were all friendly.

Hotel felt quite dated and scruffy, with none of the charm that its sister hotel the Zetter has. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was really stuffy, even turning down the heating didn’t help. We didn’t sleep well either night we stayed. There’s no coffee machine as advertised. The breakfast was quite disappointing too.

The bedroom was comfortable. My Colleagues was very noisy and she struggled to sleep.

Bar service - shut and wouldn't serve at 10.50pm - said I could take my drink to my room but not sit in the bar. Terrible coughing near food / drinks from a member of staff. Off-putting.

Great location

No coffee in room. Having coffee stations in each floor is fine but only if they always have hot water and tea/coffee available. Both mornings we were there this was not the case

Comfortable bed, very quiet, convenient location, pleasant staff. Accommodated earl check in and late check out for free. Wonderful natural light and sky view from latge windows.

Rug seemed dirty and grout on shower walls needs ro be freshened up.

Stairs from bathroom to bedroom SHOULD have a hand rail. We both slipped down the steps and had no handrail to hold onto. VERY DANGEROUS.Also would have been better to have a walk in shower rather than a tub. A couple of Safety items which would have greatly improved our stay.

Good location for the event we were attending, the room was great, lovely and modern, very comfortable bed.

The toilet stopped working, when we got in in the evening, we coped until the morning, and let the receptionist know, when we went to breakfast, assuming this would get sorted with priority, it wasn't and no alternative offered to us. Considering the price of the room, I expected this to sorted whilst we were at breakfast. The reception staff, are not that engaging, mainly looking at their computers, I wonder if they understood us?

The Hotel was in a great location, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was amazing

Good location : Underground nearby, at 1 stop from St. Pancras, busstop in front of the hotel. Restaurants and pubs within walking distance.Nice comfortable room, good shower, coffee and tea are available in the hallway. Very extensive delicious breakfast served, very good coffee.

Nice room and comfortable bed. Good clean bathroom and good shower.

The fire alarm went off twice at around 2am, which severely disturbed my night's sleep. When I queried this in the morning, the mangager was blase about it and said some guest had set it off by accident- as if it were unimporttant that X hundred guests had had their sleep significantly disturbed.

Very close to transport links, very clean and comfortable with lovely little additions like robes, fluffy towels/flannels , comfy bedding, plenty of water available 24/7 and unlimited tea and coffee. Rooms exactly as advertised and not noisy at all.

If the boiling water storage could have been monitored and topped up a little more frequently that would have been amazing as we had to call down to reception twice, but when we did they immediately responded and were so helpful by brining hot water directly to our room as well as re stocking. So that just shows the great level of customer service!

Location

I have already requested the invoice for accommodation to be issued to our company three times. Unfortunately, I still haven’t received anything, even though it was promised to be sent by e-mail.

Very nice design and modern. Everything was clean, and staff was very nice.

The room was quite tight, and I was disappointed that there was no kettle in the room, although they do have a common area on the floor.

Location was excellent for us as attending a wedding. Room comfortable although electricity failed on morning we were leaving but maintenance responded promptly.

Breakfast was very poor so pleased we hadn’t prepaid. Why mess about with a simple breakfast ?? Brie on toast and dressed salad with poached eggs!!! Lots of people complaining.

Nice location

The breakfast was poor. It took 40 minutes from ordering. Also, very few vegetarian/vegan options. My scrambled egg was cold and really disappointing. My other guest who is vegan ordered mushrooms on toast and they added an egg!

The location is very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable

Passable

I felt the room was dark and dingy and the pink/orange light was just bizarre. The only other option is stark overhead lighting. My room was cold, and remained cold despite me explaining that the the aircon was stuck on cold on my arrival. We ate in the hotel on our second evening and I would rate the meal as quite poor. The roast chicken was OK, but was served with unpleasant, grainy mashed potato and this was awash with a very watery gravy that caused the potato to break up. I would not eat there again.

Great location within five minutes of Farringdon Station. Funky decor . Staff was super friendly and eager to assist. Breakfast included option was quite substantial. My colleague preferred a buffet, but I found being able to select from four categories more than enough. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Breakfast starts at 7:30 am which doesn’t work for business travelers. The king balcony room is beautiful with a tub, but it has stairs within the room which didn’t work for me, so I switched rooms. The balcony didn’t look out on anything interesting. Still nice to have the fresh air. Coffee machine on the floor didn’t work
