The assoicated pub closed quite early - 10pm - would have liked to stay there a bit longer.

Room and Bed were great and very comfortable. The heating controls work perfectly and the room has all the facilities you might want. All of the amenities were first class including the toiletries. The location is excellent for westminister and central London

I have wanted to stay at the Sanctuary for some time now and it has either not quite worked out or it has been fully booked. So was looking forward to taking my wife to London for an overnight stop and a visit to the theatre. I was disappointed to find that the pub which is part of the hotel was closed for a makeover whch meant we were not able to enjoy breakfast or a drink before we went out in the evening. Additionally when we arrived the lift was closed for cleaning. We were on the third floor and my wife has mobility problems so was again disapointed especially as the receptionist did not offer to help us with the transporting of our bags to our room.

The cleaners were very noisy in the morning from 8/9am and the reception staff were efficient but unfortunately not very friendly when we were checking in & out. A smile and friendly word goes a long way to enhancing a stay

Good location. Room was spacious, functional - well laid out. Price was great for London.

The entrance, stairs and carpet to the reception area are straight out of the 1980s. Makes a poor first impression. The carpet looked old and threadbare. The rooms were excellent however.

Great location for Westminster. Helpful staff. Fridge in the room with milk and water.

The room was an accessible room which wasn't obvious when we booked so the loo was very high! The bathroom door swung out into the tiny bedroom so there was a risk of it hitting someone in the bedroom area.

The room decoration and fittings were very lovely, and the location excellent for my purposes.

The restaurant/bar was closed for renovation.

Fantastic location! Very close to a tube station off the circle line, quick walk to popular attractions, fairly quiet area. Clean room and friendly staff. There is also a lift to the floors- no dragging your luggage up stairs.

Breakfast was good. A good selection of morning baked goods. Different choices of breakfast meals.

SANTUARY House underwent renovations in 2023. I feel the bathroom design is poor with 1 non movable shower door in the walk in shower. There should be a shower curtain to prevent water coming to the bathroom floor. The bath tub and shower combo bathroom not good with one non movable glass door forcing the user to climb over the tub in one opening. The tube too high to climb in for small children and short adults. There is NO fixed handle as a wall attachment to help people to climb out of the BATHTUB and NO non slip tub floor mat to help people to maneuver in the soapy water. This is a potential hazard for older adults to fall and break something.

Cleanliness and proximity to the local attractions.

None to mention any except hot water took a while to come in the sink tap.It was fine with shower.But it didnot bother me.Mentioned here only because someone may bother.Overall very good experience.

Convenient to all the historical monuments we wanted to see. Breakfast was included and good restaurant attached

Great location and very charming.

My room was near the elevator and stairs and I could hear the sounds outside when someone would use either. And the bed squeaked a bit. But it was very charming and the staff was really nice.

Absolutely loved the pub including Rob who provided some great travel tips! The Frontier beer was a great find!

The bar closes too early! A nightcap after theatre would have been nice

Looking over noisy air conditioning unit and right next to the lift. Also on check in was told no other room was available. However, on returning in the evening there was a Chinese takeaway and suitcase in our room. Another couple had been a key to our room which was a security issue. The check in team sorted it out promptly and allocated a room away from the lifts and aircondtioning which at 7pm they said was not available
