the manager was a gem and she tried to make the most out of a bad situation. She gave us a "bigger" room when it became obvious that our assigned room would not even fit our luggage.

Rooms are SO small. Barely room for luggage. HV/AC not controlled in room. No hand towels, no wash clothes. Bathroom is plastic pre-fab. Shower so small your back or stomach will shut off water, control needs to be 1 ft. higher. Needs shelves.

The staff was very helpful.

The room was a windowless closet that holds just a double bed, a wall TV that costs extra to watch and a very small bathroom that was not practical to shower in. Nothing else is literally in the room, not even room for 2 people to stand and change.

I am disabled and asked for a low floor and they put me in the top floor which I thought was disgusting, it took me over half hour to get up the stairs and I was completely knackered each time I cliimbedthem

Price per night was reasonable. Staff were polite.

There wasn't a lamp in the room, it was either full lights on or pitch black (had a room with no window). We found other people's hair in the bed. The bathroom had a pungent smell when taking a shower.

nice location, the staff, miguel, jorge, carolina, maria are all warm and welcoming. they helped with all doubts and clarifications. clean rooms and for central london, this is a budget property. quiet surroundings as well.

Its location is the only good thing about this property.

The room had only one working plug and parts of the ceiling was hanging down, there were scratches all over the walls and the bed and floor were covered in hair and stains. There was a massive leak as soon as you walked in which soaked the carpet by the front door with a bucket doing nothing. Reception is dingy and the baggage store is just leaving bags around reception and trusting the one staff member there to not rob you and they have very odd liability rules displayed in the reception. Doors are also held open by screwdrivers as door stops and there were tools lying about which is a health and safety risk as well as just really making the place feel weird. As 2 female travellers we did not feel safe in this property and ultimately decided to check out and book a premier inn instead. When we checked out we were interrogated by the staff member as to what we meant by we didnt feel safe in a very passive aggressive way and i had to state numerous times that we were checking out. Non refundable room so money lost but safety comes first. Do not stay here.

The receptionist, George, gave me a very warm and friendly welcome, and very kindly upgraded me to a larger room with a window, which was brilliant. The bed was really comfortable and it was so quiet. I would happily stay here again.

I wasn't as impressed with the cleanliness of the room, although the majority was absolutely fine. There were a few areas which had been overlooked. I would still happily stay here again though.

The staff were amazing! They went above and beyond and were incredibly friendly.

The rooms are NOT suitable for 2 people, the rooms barely fit the beds, have mould, the entrance has severe weather tightness issues - there was a waterfall in the corridor because it has been raining.

The bed was extremely comfortable

The soundproofing was nonexistent. I was kept awake into the wee hours by the man in the room next to me talking, even though I was wearing earplugs. There was also precious little protection against the noise of the street from the fire escape door next to the room. I can appreciate that this issue is structural and there probably isn't much that can be done at this stage, but, if Im honest, it's still put me off staying there again.

Great location- easy walk to Victoria and Albert museum, tube station, and eateries. Rooms clean, bed comfy and shower good pressure nice and warm.

For the price couldn’t really expect much lure- may be a toilet roll!! Will know for next time.

I didn't need more than a comfy bed and a bathroom. And that's what I got - the bathroom was tiny, but it was en suite and the double bed was comfortable. The lovely man on reception took pity on me, because I didn't want to climb loads of stairs and gave me a room on a lower floor. He also offered water and snacks. A really nice touch. Yes, it's basic. Yes, the rooms are small. But honestly, when you're only planning to sleep, wash, then leave the next morning, what more do you need?
